Gear Selector Repair Bushing for Mercedes Vito Viano 639 Models

After just buying a used 2006 Vito with 200,000 miles on the clock and a gearbox that when cold was sometimes near impossible to get in gear without going through the box a few times I needed to do somethingAfter a bit of research on the forums with people trying all sorts to solve the problem I came across a post about swapping this bushLoads on eBay and Amazon but I went for this one as the sellers are an engineering company albeit more expensive than others I am more than happy with the results. smooth gear changes from cold . I have another Vito and have just ordered one for that as well because you don’t realise how much play there is until you fit a new bush . 20 min job with only Allen keys . Torx and a few screwdriver. No grease supplied but I had some anyway . Swap this before you try anything else 10/10

Fitted in 20 minutes, 18 of which were removing tge dashboard lower centre console panel and the gearchange surround.No grease supplied with kit but i had some silicon grease in the garage which i used to liberally coat all the inside of the new bush.Once reassembled gear changes are smooth and easy up and down the box. 5 stars from me

perfect fit and sorted out the gear change is perfect every time now !!

Not sure this is the best version of the part I needed as I have tried to replace existing worn part but you have to file some edges down to improve fit but found no improvement to selecting gears .

Could not get 2nd or reverse without great difficulty.This part worked !2nd gear can still feel a bit difficult to engageBut I put this down to lack of being able to use 2nd Gear.It’s improving all the time.!!Merci

Je recommande pour tous ceux qui ont des problèmes de changement de vitesse. pour moi c'était la deuxième qui passait mal (en force). Vito 111 de 2006 de type 639.aucune rectification à faire, le produit est parfaitement adapté pour remplacer la pièce défectueuse.Je recommande sans hésitation.

La mejor compra para mi Vito w 639. La segunda marcha y la marcha atras no entraban ni de coña, costaba mucho. Con esta pieza el cambio parece nuevo, todas las marchas entran suaves y perfectamente.
