Captive Aire Systems Stainless Steel Restaurant Hood Filter, (16" high x 16" wide)

It is a good product, good size and does the job well. However, when compared to my original ones these feel little lighter in quality, but i think that's just due to different material I guess.

First of all I would like to commend Jack who was customer service representative from captive air who walked me through every step. The baffles dint fit before but he helped me in a big way. The baffles sturdiness and thickness is way beyond excellent. I ordered other baffle filters which were nothing but a tin. These filters rock. Customer service rocks. Make sure you have the correct size. But this is one of the best products that I got so far. Trust me on that.

Great fit, doing Its job, easier to clean.

I paid almost $30,000 for my exaust hood. Captiveaire doesn't install. New hood is very complicated, shipped parts were faulty, system is very complicated, Fire Department doesn't like them.......and my system still isn't working or approved.

cost & easy to clean

They fit perfectly into our hood system. Very heavy duty at a great price.

Pros: It works as it should, fits and looks good. Its very light so its easy to take down and clean.Con: its light weight is its pro and con. The con part is that it is so light when the hood fan gets going it does not always stay tight on the bottom and partially lifts off from the suction caused by the fan so its not always sitting flush. Only happens right after a wash down, once u get some grease on it and gets a bit heavier it settles down.

These are the same brand as those already installed in our restaurant. They work very well. I ordered an extra set to switch out while we soak and clean the original set.
