Extracts juice well, including greens. Removing parts for cleaning was very difficult. Technique was to rock it side to side, while pulling up, not turning counterclockwise as advised. In a week, all 3 hooks of main housing broke. But I was glad because then it was much easier to assemble & remove the juice bowl and the rest of the parts for cleaning. They should not have placed those hooks in the first place. Without them, using Salton made it a lot easier.

Juices wonderfully. Awkward to use. Hard to assemble and disassemble. There are three tabs at the bottom that the juicing unit sits on. You turn it to the right for it to fit into place. It takes no small amount of effort to take off and put back on. It didn't take long for those tabs to break. I glued back together at least a half dozen times before I finally gave up. Hurts my feelings and my pocketbook that over a hundred dollar investment broke so quickly.

Does it make good juice? Yes. Does the Auger get jammed so badly that it can't be removed and cause one to eventually throw it away rather than try it one more day where 2 hours is spent trying to get it apart to clean? Yes to that too. So as far as the questions go all that I have to say is positive.

Very good product. Cleans easily, simple to assemble. I agree with previous reviewers that mentioned some difficulty with re-assembly when mounting the juice bowl. The twist to lock it in place is short, some reviewer may have missed that point. I did the first couple of times.It is easy to overwhelm the machine by putting to much in to fast, not a deal breaker.Doing some reading how to juice fruits and vegetable will help with pulp flow problems.I really like the fact that this juicer is very quiet compared to centrifugal juicers.I wonder if there is a mod or attachment that will make sorbet from frozen fruit.......how about it Salton?

I read all reviews for this product. I also did my research and comparison of benefits and price. I said to myself for what it does I don't really care for noise and what ever else against it to take points off. I used it this morning for first time after using conventional juicers for years. assembly and dis-assembly is a breeze!! not even 30 seconds on the clock. it is the idea of "click" close, not matching the arrows 100%. Noise? I have above excellent hearing and it is not noisy at all. Use it during the wee morning hours? no problem! The components and parts look very good quality and I assume they are BPA free. Follow the instructions and don't force all the fruits and veggies and carrots and the rest hard fruits in! I understand it is too early yet for how long the components will last. I am an engineer and I can tell if used properly it will last for ever.The moral of the story it makes a healthy juice and looks fantastic on the counter.

I opened the package with high expectations, assembled, and turned it on. And... nothing happened. The carrot pieces I placed in the opening just sat there. I checked the power supply with other appliances I have on hand, and they work just fine. I took the juiced apart and re-assembled, and it still didn't work at all. So disappointing, but I suppose it is a message from heaven that I should make full use of the blender that I paid a few hundred dollars for and have not been using very much. Anyhow, this may not qualify as a review, so you may delete it if you like : )

It's very slow and a bit cumbersome to clean. Especially the pulp spout is hard to empty. My friend bought a higher model and the case cracked after a couple of weeks. Masticating juicers have the reputation to have a better yield and less foam. I still had more foam than I would have expected compared to my Breville centrifuge juicer. There is also more pulp in the juice and if you go veggie this is not everyones cup or tea. Straining the juice is time consuming and reduces the yield significantly. This product is good for an occasional juicer but not for an Joe Cross type daily hard core juicer.
