Spal 30101516 16" Straight Blade Low Profile Fan

I have this installed in a 66 ford mustang with a stock 289 and aluminum radiator. All of the Mustang shops told me that I selected too thick a radiator to have an electric fan and I was solely limited to a flex fan. I tried the Spal and had ample room for the install. Great fan that cools the car when it needs too. Only drawback is that it's VERY loud. I would suggest the curved fan that many people say works just as well and is a bit quieter, I am opting for the curved on the next project

Great product, worked as advertised. Install it to my champion Radiator and fan shoud with controller.

Fan works well and cools engine well while running. Much faster than the stock fan clutch while at idle. Its a little noisy outside of the car but I can hardly hear in inside the car. Also it produces very little vibration when mounted with the gasket on the front of it. My fan came with the mounting straps that are sold on this site for a bit of money. No where in the description did it say it had the straps. That was my only issue with it so far. Overall its a good buy if you need something that is low profile.

The fan works great, i use it on my 1966 mustang with a 302, it produces a lot of heat, fan helps keeping my car cool, the fan had some clearence issues with my 3 row champion radiator. Some minor trimming was required, no big deal.

I had to replace another Spal fan I had on one of my vehicles. The other fan needed to use the same space as my water pump pulley, so it obviously wouldn't work. This one clears just fine and does a great job keeping the engine cool.

Fan seems to do a good job although it's ridiculously noisy! Even for my V8 powered Jeep, it is a bit obnoxious. Does the job though!

It didnt move enough air to cool a 4.0 explorer in stock form. Couldn't imagine this thing working well for very many applications.

My fan came with 4 brackets even though the box said they need to be ordered separate. The fan works great, moves air and isn't too loud.
