Great for home use
Works very well for the price and I would recommend it to others who do not use it as professional means home use only

This is a very good value in a knife and an attractive
This is a very good value in a knife and an attractive, well built piece that came very sharp out of a nice gift box (perfect for the occasion. The handle is nicely polished and fitted with a tight assembly around seemingly high quality full tang blade steel. It is lightweight and well balanced as well. It is best for smaller hands; I'm a 6'2'' male with large/XL hands and this was the only slightly "off" thing for me, though I bought it as a gift for my GF, whom has tiny hands, so it was a perfect fit for her. I'm sure I would get used to it with a little use, but I merely inspected, felt it, and wrapped it up for the gift giving. My knife collection consists of mostly Shun's, but I am always on the hunt for a really nice value knife to give as a gift that will supplement a friend's knife collection and get the job done. Veggie cleavers or Nikiri knives are always a good bet for this. Considering this knife is 10% of the cost of the Shun equivalent, it is a very incredible value. Easily deserving of four stars, if not five for the value it offers.

My Favorite Knife
Good value. For years, I've been using a meat cleaver for my veggies as I like the larger blade for scooping and transferring. This cuts better and does the job just as well. Good feel in the hand.

Nice knife for the price
Im no chef and Im no expert on knives but for the money this knife seems like a good buy. I havent had it long enough to speak for its durability or how long it will hold its edge and I suspect from the price that its probably not going to fair overly well in that department but I needed something razor sharp, very thin, and had a lot of surface area to it. this knife delivers in that department. The reason for subtracting one star is simply because I believe that the over all durability of this knife will not be what you would expect from a good high quality knife. If it defies that expectation then I may re-rate it but for the money I would not hestitate to buy another one.

Great for chopping and dicing
It's a beater knife. Great for chopping and dicing, handle is a little small for my hands. I wear large size latex gloves.

Cutting Edge...
Very nice clever, sharp and handy. I tend to use a clever for most of my cooking and this is just what the cook needed.
