?Seems to work as well as the membrane diffuser. Without any way to measure the quantity of oxygen being added to the water I can't say if it is a better value or not. One advantage to the membrane with base is that you can just toss the membrane/base unit roughly where you want it. The Airstone has to be in a bucket and carefully placed and the Airstone requires more effort to get it to sit flat for even bubble distribution.

It does not come with proper adaptors making it difficult to use. Most pond aerators come with 1/2", 5/8", or 3/4" tubing. This airstone came with only one small adaptor making it practically useless.

It doesn’t work as well as the original stone I got with my windmill 8 years ago.The bubbles are very fine and don’t disperse a# well in our pond. If I could I would return it. I had to disconnect my winter freeze control unit or only have it in 5’ of water. When I put it down at 13’ where my other airstone was it stopped working and the air pressure in my freeze control unit released the pressure. So this airstone is going to be completely useless in the winter. So I will have a lot of fish winter killed.
