Wish it was longer
It doesn’t fit an entire stick of butter but it is very nice for use and keeps your hands clean and the butter contained. Would be best used with the 1/2 sticks of butter.

every so slightly too small for a standard butter stick
it works great and thank god its streachy as standard sized butter sticks need to both squeeze in and streach the rubber. keeps it fresh and easy to use for things like grilled cheeses.comes with extra lids for versatility and to keep a second butter piece on the side. was confused by second lid for a solid 10 minuts.

It's for HALF a stick of butter, not full.
I would like to correct a misrepresentation in the description. It says "3-piece design holds and stores up to a FULL STICK of butter". What they mean by this is, the container is designed to hold up to a HALF STICK of butter, but they provide you with a lid to cover the other half! So you have to cut the butter stick in half. Put one half in the container and close it with the thick container lid, and cover the half with the thin lid.If you don't want to cut your butter stick, just stick the whole thing in the container, and close the exposed part with the thin lid. You can use the thin lid as long as the butter is sticking outside the container. (See pictures)I personally prefer the flexibility that this three-piece design offers, because there are times when I want to use butter just to coat stuff (for which I use the half in the container). And then there are times when I want to cut chunks to put in soups and other cooked dishes (for which I use the half that's not in the container)The quality of the container is excellent, and makes evenly coating a pan or corn on the cob very easy. This works best when the butter is cold. But, it's also a less messy way to contain room-temperature butter, because all the gooeyness is contained inside. When you stick it back in the fridge, the butter cools down into the original rectangular shape, which is great.

It could be better
It could work better. The concept I think is very good but it really needs to improve. as the stick of butter gets shorter and shorter it becomes cumbersome. The piece ( about 2 in ) thats left in it starts to turn and slip out of the sleeve. Like I said, it's ok.

Does not fit west coast butter
I wouldn't be leaving a 1 star review if the manufacturer had not intentionally misrepresented this product. I specifically checked before I bought it to make sure it would fit west coast butter. Someone already posed this question, and Fusionbrands responded, claiming "a West Coast stick fits nice and snug". Not true.I was able to jam the stick in the spreader, but it was difficult, made a big mess, and wasted a lot of butter. I guess the manufacturer could plausibly claim that is a "nice and snug" fit, but that's a huge stretch (pun intended). However, the extra piece that is supposed to cover the extra half of butter will not fit at all. I tried when the butter was straight from the fridge and super cold, I tried warming it a little and letting it get softer, but it isn't even close. It is too small, and it isn't stretchy. There is no way it can fit a west coast stick. The cap for the spreader doesn't fit the butter, either, though it does cover the spreader. If a company doesn't want to make a product that works for everyone, that's totally fine, but don't lie about it. Just be honest. I guess they are betting that most people who buy it and can't use it won't bother to return it or leave a review.Even if it had fit properly, it's a messy design, anyways. To expose the butter to use it, you need to squish the butter down, or roll the spreader up like you're cuffing a sleeve (and then roll it back down to cap it and store it). I experimented with it once I got the butter loaded, and it was messier than just leaving the butter in the wrapper.I recommend the Norpro spreader. The design is better, it's a fraction of the price, and it fits properly. I would have gotten it in the first place, but I picked Fusionbrands because it had better reviews (I guess they must all be from people using east coast sized butter).https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LNP196I also recommend the KitchenArt Buttermate Butter Cutter for measuring butter. It's not for spreading, but it's perfect for measuring a specific amount, great for cooking, popcorn, etc. The ingenious design has 2 different measuring strips you can swap out, for perfectly accurate measurements for either east or west coast butter.https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00020O3YCI can't even give this Fusionbrands spreader away to anyone who lives within hundreds of miles. I am returning it, which means Fusionbrands is out the money, the spreader will probably end up in a landfill, and I wasted my time on a product that had no chance of working for me. Everyone loses.

Hey summer must
These are so convenient for the summer… Every household in my family has one now after using mine. Can you put the stick of butter in there and keep it in the refrigerator for corn, bagels, toast. It washes well in the dishwasher, no wasted have used butter from rolling corn, no burning your fingers, mess free. It’s a great product.

A great idea that doesn't quite work out all that well in practice
This was a great idea. I love it. I actually thought of it myself several times. And then there it was! Well, sadly, this great idea doesn't really work out all that well in practice. To use it you have to bend the silicone back around the butter, spread the butter, then pull the silicone back up around the butter. Sort of like turning it partly inside out and back every time and there is no easy way to do it. The silicone is difficult to bend back around the butter. Takes a bit of a struggle so you get your fingers all buttery every time. I really wish this worked better as I really loved the concept. I think if there were a way to push the butter out and push it back in without getting your fingers messed up that would be nice. This is not that.

Excelente
The media could not be loaded.
