Huffy Bicycle Company Quick Change Inner Tube, Black

I'm not sure where all the 1-star reviews are coming from. I was dumbfounded when I found out something like this exists. I put together my own electric bike and the tube on the rear tire kept going flat, even after I patched it. I soon realized it was because the spoke connection points on the inside of the room are just open holes with razor sharp edges that were perforating the tube due to the pressure. Rim tape and a new tube is an easy solution, but a new tube requires removing the entire wheel, which would not be an easy feat with my setup. I was skeptical when I came across this solution, but it has worked perfectly. It went on super easy, and I haven't even noticed the bump where the two endpoints come together like some other people have mentioned. I bought a second tube to keep on hand just in case there were any issues with this first one or I got another flat, but it has held up over probably a couple hundred miles of up to 30-mph rides on my electric bike so far.

I really wanted this to work since I have an e bike with complex wiring to the rear wheel. I came out today to find my bike with a flat and to save time I decided to give this a go, cut out the old tube, installed this one and filled to about 70psi and off I went. The tire did seem a bit off but I didn’t think more of it, rode the bike for 10km and at my destination raved to my friends about the nifty bike tube. Well, later when going back home I found the tube must have given up and I couldn’t even get enough air in to ride home.I contacted customer support and amazon didnt offer any resolution :(

They are supposed to "plug in" togetherto make a loop. But they don't plug together so I ended up with a huge dimple on both sides of the tire, so taking corners I can really feel it and it is scary enough that I will put on a normal tube.I contacted "Huffy" and to paraphrase accurately, the representative said, "since you bought the tubes from Amazon, Huffy really doesn't care. So I will return two of them, the other two that since I didn't know they stink, I carried them with me to deal with flats as they happen and I wanted to return them but the 30 day return window has expired.This is a great idea, if they worked it would be even better.

We could not loosen the nuts off the tire rim to get the old tube out and replace it. These were fantastic! We were able to just cut the old one and take it out and then slide these in. The instruction video was nice. Great idea! Will buy these again if needed.

I ordered this Huffy Inner Tube to replace my mountain bike’s punctured tube, and I was happy that it was delivered on time and the inner tube was not damaged. I really like this inner tube as it was quite easy to install and set up in less than 20 minutes by following the simple and easy instructions; I also watched the less than 3 minutes quick video too before I started the installation process. I quickly removed the old tube and installed this new inner tube and then inflated it and I was ready again to start riding. I do like the design and styling of this inner tube as I completed the installation without removing the wheel from the bike. I do like that the inner tube appears to be made with good quality materials and it seems to be tough, sturdy and durable. I have been riding my bike on the dirt roads, rough and uneven surfaces around the neck of my woods for the last several weeks without any issues with the inner tube. For the quality and price point, this inner tube is a great value for bucks, and I would recommend it.

This worked perfectly so far on a rear wheel, so I didn't have to take it, the chain, etc off. Only been ridden on once, so can't speak to longevity, but if it lasts similar to most tubes, this is a great idea that saved a lot of pain in the tire changing process.

I really wanted these to work out because it is so much easier changing an innertube using these. After over a year and going through 4 of these innertubes, I give up. 3 out of the 4 have developed leaks at the nipple area where the 2 ends join together. The 4th one exploded at a seam when inflating. No punctures were involved, just defective products. I've written to Huffy telling them that the idea is great, but they need to work on quality control. Luckily, these blow outs have happened at lower speeds. Imagine it happening when doing over 40mph, which I occasionally do. I won't be buying these anymore. Can't reccomend these to anyone.

I worked at a bike shop for 12 years so I can confidently rate this as complete junk. I didn’t read the description sufficiently to notice that this is a non-standard “tube” otherwise I would have waited longer for an innertube from another company This tube isn’t long enough to butt together once installed so there is a gap between the two ends that leaves an indent in the tire even if you seat the tube so the two ends touch before fully inflating. Also don’t count on it fully inflating. Mine burst at the end before I reached 40 psi in a tire rates for 65psi.
