Great Option For Storing Food Long Term
Great option if you want to pack and store your food for long term storage. Stored about 100lb of rice and beans and haven't even gone through 1 roll. Bags sealed well with a cheep'o hair straightener and O2 absorbers all seemed to do their job. I've seen reviews that say the O2 absorbers don't work. Just so we're clear, O2 absorbers don't necessarily make your bag look like it's been vacuum sealed. "Air" is only about 21% Oxygen so 79% of the volume is other "stuff" that the absorbers wont' absorb. If you wanted to be really thorough you could try putting an O2 absorber in AND vacuum sealing, but always use the absorber for long term storage.
