This is reasonably priced and has ability to firmly clamp a large phone without removing from the case.My case is 5/8" thick, and it handles it just fine.Small spirit level, 3 1/4" mounts, a cold shoe, solid clamp, nicely small handle and wrist strap make for a find product.Works for me.

I purchased the unit to enhance the ability to move and place my phone while conducting FaceTime virtual training sessions from home. It works well for me after one addition. I made and added a screw-in knob on the adjustable end to make the adjustment screwing easier and faster. See my photo in this review.

I want to say, after purchasing another product before this one, I was devastated due to how poorly built the manufacturing was on that item. However, after searching high and low, for something sturdy yet very inexpensive, I stumble upon this item. I was super thrilled by all the awsome reviews it got. So I gave it a go. And let me tell yah; they weren't lying!. This product is all that and more! From the mount attachment to the versatility of accommodating a variety of different phones STURDY! Also let's not forget the handle strap for extra security. I must say it's well built with great quality pieces that made up this item. Overall, very satisfied customer!!!!😊😊😊

It should be mentioned that the cold shoe on top of this handle is just a big gaping slot, with no pressure pads to retain anything inserted in it. I inserted an accessory viewfinder and when I tipped the handle back, the viewfinder just fell out. Better made devices use pressure pads like hot shoes on cameras. The drawings for this product show accessory devices (like the microphone) with a thumb screw at its base, but the ad should go further to mention that a thumb screw is ESSENTIAL to prevent it falling out of the top of their handle.

This works quite well, especially if you also have "in camera" image stabilization. Easier to get a good hold on. But does increase the bulk you must pack along. Not really pocket friendly, if you like to just carry your phone in a shirt pocket, more for longer or frequent, video shooting. Vacationing maybe. Price was good. A good deal if you're looking for one. But you may not use it as much as you think.

Pros: Fits my Note 10+ with a rugged case. You can adjust it by turning the top clockwise to shorten and counter clockwise to lengthen it. The part where it holds your phone is nicely padded and is quite grippy. I also like that it has a slight indent for the phone to be placed instead of being flat. The included wrist strap is a nice touch and it's decently thick and soft.Cons: Adjusting can get annoying if you tend to use it with different phones. The hand grip seems a little small. The build quality of the base seems decent but the part the adjustable extension feels cheap.I haven't tried any attachments but the ability to use them is great. Overall, I think it's a good product.*note* if your threads aren't smooth then request for a replacement

This thing is awesome! Quality is great and heavy duty! Heads up though, it doesn’t float. I didn’t buy it to float, just an observation.
