Tired of guessing shipping weights and stepping on the scale to weigh a package, I purchased this little scale to use at home. It's perfect for my needs. It measures up to five pounds accurately and clearly. The only downside I can see is that it prints the current shipping costs for each weight on its front panel; the rates tend to go up every year or so, so the costs will be out-of-date before long. A workaround for that is going to the USPS website once the current label is out of date. A handy little tool to have at home.

Scale broke early on (perhaps when I received it) and I couldn't fix it. Totally unreliable. I would not buy again.

I've owned a set of these scales before and knew they'd be adequate for weighing letters. I wouldn't trust the accuracy 100%. If it's close to the next ounce, be sure to err on the side of caution and add extra postage. I ordered them because I was in a hurry to replace a lost set of scales, and for the money, it was the best that Amazon offered at the time.

This was used. It is a great postal scale that is now discontinued. The company will not make the face plate anymore, so my great purchase will not be able to show the postage needed on an envelope or a large brown envelope anymore. Good thing is the scale itself I can use for weighing my mail.

Very pleased with this manual scale. It seems fairly accurate after confirming weights at the post office. I especially like not having to use up one of my USB connections on my computer just to weigh a letter.

Love this little scale. It's compact yet quite accurate. Fits nicely on my kitchen counter top. And dial is easy to read too.

Was damaged when I got it.

Works as well as you could expect for an old-fashioned spring loaded scale. For home use, it's fine. It goes up to 5 pounds, which comes in handy. I have no complaints.
