I use these bottles to keep cold water stored in the fridge, but they would also work great for juice, tea, cold brew, etc.When I was looking for bottles on Amazon, I was mostly finding sellers of single bottles around this size made from something called borosilicate glass. They were all advertising stuff like "LEAD AND TOXIN FREE!!"...as if normal glass is leaded and toxic....so as I often have to do before making an Amazon purchase, it was time to do research.Without copy-pasting the scientific explanation which doesn't really matter, it turns out borosilicate glass is the type of glass used for lab tools like test tubes, beakers, etc. This kind of glass is a better conductor, which means it's suitable for very hot liquids and fast temperature changes. This type of glass is also a bit harder than standard glass, so in theory harder to break (more on this later). These fancy glass bottles cost upwards of $20/ea. I was thinking...do I really need to spend $100 if I want to keep a few bottles of cold water in the fridge? Jeez.Finally I found this set of 4 bottles for around $20, made from heavy duty standard or soda glass, the same material the glasses you have at home are probably made from. They're great! And, they have an advantage for my use case over the borosilicate glass — the thicker soda glass is a better insulator, so they keep cold drinks cold much longer.I know this because out of morbid curiosity, I bought a borosilicate glass bottle for use at my office. It's much lighter, which if I was carrying it around would be great, but I'm not, and my cold water warms up in like half the time compared to these bottles.Finally, on the alleged hardness of borosilicate glass. I'm sure it's true that it's harder, because the borosilicate bottle I got is extremely thin. However, within the first hour I had that bottle, it fell about 2 feet and absolutely shattered (had to use my single free replacement warranty immediately, lol). It fell on a concrete floor, so I can't say for sure that one of these bottles would've survived the fall, but these are made from thick, sturdy glass — probably about 2x the thickness of your standard pint glass. So don't worry when you read that borosilicate glass is harder that it means these are going to break easily — they won't.Long review to say, if you're just going to use the bottles for storing and drinking cold beverages, save yourself some money, have a better experience, and get these bottles. Don't be tricked by dishonest marketing that suggests a normal glass bottle is toxic.

Great glass bottles with a wide opening to accommodate easy filling. The only caution I would suggest for these bottles is the width of them. Smaller hands or older customers with arthritis may have trouble holding a full bottle with one hand. My mother (in her late 60's) has to use 2 hands to move full bottles. They fit in 2 of our 3 cars cup holders however, this is not a problem since they are used almost exclusively at home.

Use bottles for work. I put one bottle on top of my desk. Looks great. Easy to hold. Does not leak. It is a good buy.

About 2 weeks in i started having issues with the caps not wanting to spin tight correctly. They started to shift and not be 100% secure. If you shook it, some would leak out. No biggie because I use these glasses at home only, so i do not need a cap. Not to worry, just be aware.

Bought to go with my new Berkey filter system. These bottles seem to keep water cold longer and are so much nicer to drink from than plastic.

Bought these for my husband. Work great if you use flavor packets as these are easy to clean and don't discolor like reusable plastic bottles.

The lowest quality you can ever imagine.Such items cost $2 in China, but if you add $0.5 they can produce the best quality for you.This supplier thinks only about his profit. I think, he deserves 0 sales whatsoever.I wish I could upload the photo.

Amazing quality bottles but the fancy lids leak every time. I have yet to find a nice bottle that actually seals.
