I am very happy with this bed frame. I'm 72 and put it together by myself. So easy to do and looks great in my spare room. Super sturdy and made extremely well. This is the best price since I have scanned the internet for days to find something I could afford. It is double the price anywhere else. Super happy and a great deal. Wouldn't hesitate to buy this bedframe if you are on the fence.

The color is not exactly the gold I was thinking but it will do. It's a more matte muted color I would say. The bed is sturdy, but it does need a boxspring for sure. We were not aware of that.

This is exactly what we were looking for for my daughter's first big girl bed. HOWEVER, the manufacturer says it does not need a box spring. THIS IS A LIE! It definitely needs a box spring. I almost never write reviews, but after having to make two trips to purchase a mattress and then coming home to realize that we did, in fact, need a box spring was mildly irritating. I love the bed, but they need to quit it with the incorrect advisement of their customers.
