Nice look from the front. Not engraved. It’s like a vinyl wood front but still looks nice.Took off one star for the sides. Wish the sides were painted or the wood look wrapped around as when you hang it up you can see the unfinished wood (see picture)Updated- took off 2 stars... it is not flat so it does not lay nicely against the wall when hung. Bows out in the middle. Very frustrating for the price

We recently painted our kitchen and I had, for once, the foresight to take pictures of the wall where we had been keeping track of our boy's height. We didn't want to write on the new wall and wanted something nicer to keep track of his growth. The cloth banners sold here were an option, but then we stumbled upon this, which was less expensive than most of the other giant wood rulers but still looked nice. So we took a chance and have been very pleased with the product. We just hung it and are in the process of marking the previous measurements with a label maker to give it a consistent look each time we take a measurement.Great product at a great price.

Perfection and high quality! I hung it with one drywall anchor with screw (not included) and two command strips at the bottom to keep it from moving. I bought paint markers to mark the heights of everyone in the family. It will be so fun to watch the kids grow grow now!

I love the way this looks in my drop zone wall! After many curse words from my husband, several holes and lots of measuring.... we finally got it right! The hook on the back was a quarter inch off. Once we figured that out it was easy peasy lemon queezy! Solid piece. Excellent quality. We may need a little prayer and counseling in our relationship though. My kids might say things at school that will warrant a phone call but I love it!

Perfect for our military family to take our memories with us wherever Uncle Sam sends us. I will definitely be gifting this to other families in the future!

It’s perfect!! Great quality! Hangs beautifully and is easy to use for measuring! Just moved and had to transfer the girls growth marks from our wall to this. So nice to take a little treasure with us to our new place (plus now we don’t have to make on the walls anymore)

Silly, perhaps, but part of why I chose to purchase this product was because it advertised that it had the mounting kit on the product already so you just had to measure 75 inches from the floor. This has a line, I presume, where the mounting kit should be, but there is no mounting kit. This is the difference between me being able to hang it myself or wait a month for my hubby to get around to it. Super annoying.

We like it. It has a definite finish almost printed on look. I wasnt expecting that. But the surface is easy to write on with pencil and even erase. This helped us a lot! There is a wooden plaque on the back above the hanger for the nail. Ours actually hung on this plaque and was like 3-4 inches too high! So be careful. Double check with tape measure its the right height before u use a permanent marker. But its a cool piece
