More mild than medium roast
This was a gift for a friend who is a coffee lover. However it fell a bit short in the flavor department. While it’s smooth, it’s certainly not robust. This medium roast is actually very mild—so mild that it has a very insipid taste. I couldn’t recommend this as a true medium roast.

Great coffee!
First the k-cups themselves are very well constructed. The cup is translucent allowing you see the coffee and unlike some brands there is an adequate amount to make a large cup without sacrificing flavor. The top is sealed well, there were no loose grounds in the bottom of the package and not a single k-cup has left grounds in the bottom of my cup or more importantly left behind after brewing and gunking up my machine. The coffee itself is wonderful. Dark enough to have the more intense flavor I like without having that bitter or slightly burnt taste that isn't uncommon in a darker roast. I'd put this in the medium to dark roast category. It holds up well by itself if you enjoy your coffee black but it doesn't get lost behind the flavor of cream and sugar if you add those.Overall a very satisfying brew. I've found it's not too easy to find actual good coffee in pre-make k-cup form and it's been a pleasure finding this one. I ordered this particular one simply because I had never tried coffee grown and roasted in Rwanda and I really enjoy it. Will definitely order this again and probably try some of their other varieties as well.

Guatemala Antigua coffee at its finest
I “discovered” Guatemala Antigua coffee about 25 years ago, and ever since, when I’ve had a sudden hankering for it, I’ve gone on the hunt. It used to be less than easy to find, but the internet changed all that. Still, you can’t be 100% sure of getting the best when you order online. I’ve had some disappointments (Rabbit, I’m looking at you). But this coffee ... mmmm ... so good, just what I believe Guatemala Antigua should be. Apparently each small batch is personally roasted and ground by an employee who signs his/her name on it along with the date. I ordered mine in K-cup form, and the roaster packed my coffee in delicate, homemade-looking pods. They produced wonderful flavor. The price is just what I think such attention to the customer and passion for flavor warrants. When I just want a caffeine injection to start my day, I can brew up something cheap and be OK with it. But for that cold winter Sunday morning when you have time to indulge yourself a little, I highly recommend this coffee.

Absolutely sold - these make my morning!
So I was using Donut Shop K-cups til I decided to see if it was possible to find some quality coffee in a K-cup. I switched to Cubico 3 months ago, and haven't looked back til this morning, when I ran out and had to resort to Donut Shop. Now, I knew the Cubicos were better than the old swill, but I didn't appreciate just how much better! Never going back again, so worth a little extra $ to wake up to a smooth, pleasant cup!Have so far tried Tanzania, Nicaragua, Peru, & Rwanda. Tanzania is my favourite, but all were very good & incredibly flavourful & aromatic, especially for K-cups! I drink coffee every morning, so I use the cups within a month of receiving (I order 1 month's worth at a time) and they maintain their flavor well. Highly recommended!

I don't remember the cost, so I can't say if it had any "value" but it's crazy good
