Hotspots have met their match!!
I bought this hoping it would work better than other things I've tried but I never thought it would be this great. It really works quickly and gave my dog relief from day 1. No other treatment was needed. In the past I've used creams and also had to get a prescription to make them go away. I work in the veterinary field and will be recommending this. It's easy to apply and doesn't have any weird odors. The reason I'm pointing this out is because my 2 other dogs left it alone on the dog I used it on. Other products made them try and like it off the one it was applied to. The spot was on her neck and the only issue I had was keeping her from rolling on the couch which removed a lot of the gel. I bought some neck covers and in less than 5 days, the spot was just about completely healed. The gel kept the area from drying out and becoming intimated so it could heal. This product may cost more but it's 100% worth it. This will be a staple in my house now because you never know when a hotspot will happen. A+++++

Works fast and soothes irritation 🐶💙
This has been really effective for hot spots and irritated areas. It goes on smoothly, absorbs well, and seems to calm redness and itching pretty quickly. I also like that it doesn’t feel overly greasy once it soaks in. Small downside: The blue color can be a little messy if your dog rubs against furniture right after application. Overall, it works well and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Spot-On Healing
When my furry friend developed an unexpected hot spot, I felt like I was starring in a veterinary drama. Enter Forticept Blue Butter – the superhero ointment that saved the day! This topical treatment is like a soothing balm for my pet’s skin woes, providing rapid relief from itching, redness, and discomfort. The veterinary strength formula tackles everything from yeast infections to ringworm with impressive efficiency. I love how easy it is to apply, turning what could be a stressful grooming session into a quick and painless routine. The pleasant blue tint makes it less intimidating, and my pet doesn’t mind the application at all. Plus, the 4oz size is perfect for multiple uses, ensuring we’re always prepared for any unexpected skin issues. However, I did notice that the scent is quite mild, which is generally a plus, but a slightly stronger fragrance might help in identifying the treated areas more easily. Also, while it’s highly effective, a bit more coverage for larger hot spots would be ideal. Overall, Forticept Blue Butter is a must-have in any pet owner’s first aid kit. It’s effective, easy to use, and provides much-needed relief for our beloved animals. A solid 5-star rating for its healing power and user-friendly application, with a tiny star lost to its subtle scent.

Magic blue butter!!
This stuff is BLUE BUTTER MAGIC!!!! Our dog has had a spot on his head ever since he was a puppy...he is now 5 years-old. The vet always told us it was nothing to worry about and just to keep an eye on it. One day, while both of our dogs were playing outside the bump was scratched causing a lot of bleeding! Our one dog is white, and when he came back inside he had blood ALL OVER HIM! I couldn't believe it!! A few seconds later, the other dog came in and he too had blood all over him. We were freaking out! We had no idea where the blood was coming from or which dog. Finally we found the source of it and called the vet immediately. They wanted to do surgery to cut it out and stop the bleeding but it was going to cost us thousands of dollars to do and he would have to go to a clinic 4 hours from us. We begged for another option and the vet recommended this stuff. He was able to get the bleeding to stop and told us to order this cream ASAP. The following day it arrived and we applied it to the area. I was afraid it was going to hurt him, but thankfully, he didn't mind it at all!! The only thing he didn't like was the smell of it. It has a menthol scent to it but after a few minutes the smell went away and he was fine. Within less than 2 weeks, the spot was healed! Even his hair grew back. There still remains a SMALL bump but compared to what it looked like before, it was a nigh and day difference! We still have plenty of cream left over. It doesn't take much at all! I can't say enough how thankful we are to have been recommended such an amazing product! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!!

Two applications in, will update
I purchased the bundle, the blue hotspot gel and hot spot spray. Since I just began treatment yesterday, the jury is still out. My dog began with what has been diagnosed as ringworm a couple of weeks ago. He has been taking an oral antifungal medication for a week now as well as receiving twice weekly baths with an approved antifungal shampoo. He's been getting routine spray downs with a cleanser twice daily. But the infection seems to be getting worse. I understand treatment can take weeks, but my patience is sometimes thin. I can't pet my boy or brush him without his skin rolling beneath my hands. He's not scratching often but we both are miserable. I purchased the bundle primarily for the gel, but I also needed a spray. First, the jar was filled to near the top, which was a nice surprise based on other reviews. But as I applied the gel to individual spots on my boy's skin this morning, the shivering of his skin calmed as I rubbed in the gel. I can only hope this meant he received some relief. He only allowed me to apply to one side of his back, and I don't want this to become a fighting issue, so I'll try the other side later. I'll update as we go and take before and after photos. I really hope this does provide him with some relief as well as help eliminate the ringworm. The smell is not bad at all, the blue color is not an issue, and it took only a small amount to rub in thoroughly at the areas I addressed. Hopefully a good value as it could become pricey depending on the time this may need. I'm looking for the rapid healing other have claimed.
