Rose Pork Brains, 7 oz. (189g) Pack of 6 Bundled with a JFS Recipe Card

Don’t know why this isn’t on store shelves outside of Appalachia? I enjoy brains&eggs on occasion for breakfast, and since I haven’t found a butcher store yet in the Houston TX area that sells them fresh or frozen, having them shipped in at around $5 a can final price is the best I can do. It just sucks because I know this stuff sells for $2.50 or less on grocery store shelves back East all day long.Anyway, brains&eggs is NOT something you want to be eating all day, every day, just because of the massive amount of cholesterol you’re consuming, (one can makes brains and eggs for 4 and even split 4 ways including the eggs, each person is consuming over 300% of their daily recommended cholesterol intake in one sitting. Traditionally, brains&eggs were only consumed in the colder months when hogs were slaughtered and folks didn’t want to let ANY part of the animal go to waste, so folks weren’t eating them every day even back then.Anyway, we probably have them twice a month for breakfast, an order of 6 cans can hold us over for about 3 months. At $25 and free shipping for 6 cans, that’s about as cheap as I’ve been able to find them online.

Great addition to scrambled eggs. Grandma didn't tell me what it was until I ate them scrambled with eggs, Turned out I really liked them.

Haven’t purchased canned brains for a few years as I was unable to find them in my new city. After locating them on line made my purchase. Was somewhat wary as brains in milk gravy was new to me. These were ok but I preferred them not in the milk gravy.

Read some bad reviews. I have to say it was fine by me. My dad made pork brains and eggs on the weekends growing up. The two of us were the only ones who would eat them😁

Taste great and comes with excellent recipes to make with these although I can eat them right out of the can too!!

My wife is from England and likes to have Pork brains with scrambled eggs. Not really to my taste, but she loves the product.

I scrambled the pork brains with eggs and found the combination very tasty.

Bought for a gift for a friend, she loved them and could not find in store.
