Great shoe. Still breaking them in and I did add metal toe tap and rubber sole cause I find leather soles comfy but slippery and will wear out the toe of a sole in less than a year cause I must walk like some sort of drunk ogre.

Very satisfied with this beautiful pair of shoes. The leather finish is absolutely stunning and the shoes look phenomenal in dress wear. The leather sole is very satisfying to walk around in, and the shoes became very comfortable after walking around in the first 30 minutes. The packaging is well done with extra laces, shoe horn, and liners. Each shoe shipped in the box was separated by a cotton bag. Very classy.Many compliments received during my first use, I will report back on the longer term use. Paired beautifully with Anthony Veers shoe trees. Absolutely love this brand. I will absolutely be buying multiple pairs of these shoes ASAP.EDIT 7-28-2019 (1-Year Update):These shoes still look beautiful. The key is to rotate them with another pair of shoes so that the trees have some time to absorb the moisture and maintain their shape. I’ve work these shoes every other day for 8-10 hours a day and they are even more comfortable and still maintain their now look as well. I brush my shoes every day after wearing them in order to remove any debris/dust. One time a week I will give a light coat of polish using The Hanger Project methods and these shoes should last a lifetime. Sole and rubber heal is still in good condition as I avoid rain or any water as much as possible. I have a spare pair of shoes under my work desk if I ever needed if the weather turned.

It wasn’t until after I wore them that I noticed that there was a part on the top of the shoe that wasn’t properly sewed or secured down. I’m afraid that after a few more wears it will tear off and be an eyesore. Not sure what to do it I have already worn them. Hopefully the company will read this and advise. Otherwise, would give this a five star.

The true test for a shoe involves how it does over time, so I can only give my first impressions so far. First, I must say that I love the price, but did go into it with some skepticism. I have gone through my share of cheap Chinese-made shoes in recent years (bearing the names of big brands like Kenneth Cole and Steve Madden), and have always been disappointed with how poorly they hold up. Even with regular cleaning, polishing, and care, they only last a few months before they needed to be replaced.So when I saw that I could get a hand-made shoe with a welted sole for roughly the same price as those Chinese made shoes, I decided that I just had to give it a try. The shoes were beautiful when they arrived. They shipped with a plastic shoe horn, protective bags, and a few pairs of replacement shoelaces. I have worn them through a number of work days and one business trip so far, and thus far I am a happy camper; in fact, I ordered a second pair so that I could get something with a different look, and rotate between the two.

I absolutely LIKE the style of this shoe! It is EVERYTHING I wanted; however, it runs narrow. I'm trying to give it some time to break in. Hopefully, time will fix the issue.

Everything about these shoes is impressive in the unboxing-- The stitching is clean, the leather unblemished, and the shoes were pretty well done for the price-point. Unfortunately, I ordered a half size down as I typically do for dress shoes, and these fit as my normal nike/adidas tennis shoe sizing and not my typical dress shoe size. So while I was sad to send them back, I do plan to purchase another pair in the future, but will try ordering a 9 instead of an 8.5 as I did. Are they AE quality? Not quite, but for half the price, I will probably purchase a pair of these before I purchase another pair of AE

I normally wear a size 12. I purchased a size 12 black and it's too small. Had to return it. So I decided to buy a 13 black but it's unavailable. I therefore purchased a size 13 in Oxblood instead but it's too big. Had to return it. Finally decided to purchase a size 12 in Oxblood. Wait and see how that fits. My preferred color however, is black and the oxblood is 60 dollars or 67% more expensive - why?

It's exactly what I was looking for. A classic style that never goes out of fashion. With the fine material, craftsmanship and leather soles they are reconstructable and should never need to be replaced.

I found them a little too large (size 9.5) and arranged a return via the local post office. Though the shoes were fine in themselves, it appeared they'd been returned by some other customer as there was missing tissue wrapping on one shoe and no spare laces as promised. This didn't particularly bother me as I needed them for a black-tie event, however, I re-ordered them a half-size down on the Friday which were delivered well before the party the next day. As well as being a perfect fit and – given it was the first time I'd worn them – it was surprising how comfortable they were during a long, memorable evening which included lots of dancing. New leather shoes like these would normally skin my heel.I've been really impressed with the positive customer service of the seller who arranged the refund before the returned shoes must have reached them.

The shoe is nicely finished with a high level of attention. But its so tight to walk on. It hurts at the back, when I'm walking. How do I get it to be a bit free and painless?

Super fast delivery (within 24 hours). These are quality made, hand stitched shoes, which I can already tell, will last a very long time. BUT (normally a negative to follow) they arrived with, a beautiful, heavy brass shoe horn, spare laces, shoe bags to protect and store your shoes, and the highest quality inner soles. A bit tight fitting (but I am taking into consideration that the leather will stretch over time), however it you did opt for half a size up, you could always put the inner soles in. Fantastic service, great quality shoes, which I would highly recommend.
