The American Cookie Cutter Company Turtle Sea Cookie Cutter

Absolutely adorable cookie cutter! Very sturdy and strong, and did not bend when trying to cut out thick substance.We used this cookie cutter to cute out rice krispy treats for my twins' second birthday party that was Bubble Guppie themed. We then decorated the rice krispy tutle treats with eyes, lips, and either stripes or polka dots. They came out super cute and they were super yummy. They were the hit of the party. I had people asking me how I was able to get that shape out of a rice krispy treat.

Cookie cutter was larger than expected and my cookies turned out larger than wanted. A comparison picture would be helpful for people that do not like to look at dimensions and just want standard turtle-shaped cookies. I would say the size of the cookie after baked would be a tortoise from the Leatherback Sea turtle family.

My mother-in-law is a ceramics artist and makes little magnets that she punches them out with cookie cutters before adding other designs. When it arrived I thought it was a bit over-sized but she said that the clay shrinks a bit when baked so it was actually good to be large.

Just as described, seems a little more "dull" than other metal cookie cutters, but I don't think it will cause any problems...

This thing is so adorable. I used it as a gift tie on a package for my friend who loves sea turtles. It is super cute.

Sugar cookies come out as huge indistinguishable blobs. I've tried them with different recipes and dough thickness with pretty much the same results.

Creatures of water remind you of a beach, ocean or sea and that's a good place to be.

Exactly what I wanted to add to my cookie cutter collection. Decent weight and well constructed.
