This product is phenomenal. I carried it in my carry-on bag for our plane flights and was able to comfortably handle it through a change of planes in Denver. The scale fit in my carry-on with no problem which fit under the seat with no problem. Place this scale on a hard surface and you are good to go. My husband and I are very pleased with the accuracy of the scale and ease of use. I have some balance issues, but as long as the scale is near a wall to steady myself against with my hand and then put my full weight on the scale, there is no problem. It is so nice to be able to watch the light, wait for it to turn green, then step off and pick the scale up, if necessary, to read your weight. No straining to see the numbers while you are on the scale. We are going to recommend this scale to a Medifast coach for her clients who travel a great deal and need to keep track of their weight on the road while following the food plan.

It is small so a bit of a challenge to stand on, but I had no problem. It gives good weights that track to other scales. And it gives me an option to stay in my diet as I travel

I purchased for a friend who travels frequently and wants to maintain a particular body weight. I thought this was PERFECT as it was small, lightweight and had a case to protect it but the problem is it doesn't weigh accurately. You can get on the scale 5 different times within a 10 minute period and as an example your weight can range from 182 to 195 lbs. I could easily understand a difference of up to 2 lbs but a 13 lb range is not what I bought this for. My friend was very dissatisfied and I will be returning it. I may try a replacement. I hope this is helpful to future purchasers.

I like this scale.I hot it few days b4 my trip then I insert the battery to check if it was working.Then I couldn't take back.Since I was just have a carry on then I couldn't take it with me.

Awesome for use when traveling (very necessary when dieting). Lightweight, compact, and works very well (once you get used to balancing). I found it was about 1 pound different from my regular scale, but VERY consistent so easy to keep up with daily weight. This helped enormously when visiting relatives in New Orleans, where ALL food seems to have hidden sugar and fat. I could splurge, then be very strict and keep my weight under control because that little scale kept me in line.I couldn't believe how easily it fit in my suitcase! Pointer: not necessary to tap first, just step on with heels on back edge of scale with toes hanging off the front for better balance. It really isn't difficult once you get used to it. There is a red light while it is calculating your weight. As soon as there is a green light, step off and read your weight (it doesn't stay on long). I LOVE THIS SCALE, and the well fitting sleeve! Now, if I could just fudge the weight!

Works well! Bit tricky to balance at times, but not terrible -- I use the activity as part of my balance exercises :-). Amazing for travel -- I've taken it to multiple continents and used it easily. It does not turn on in the suitcase! And my batteries have stood up for multiple domestic and international trips and still going strong. The case has kept it well protected in my suitcase -- though I do place it carefully to avoid damage. It is heavy compared to many travel items. There is an offset from my normal bathroom scale -- I just calibrated it a few times at home for weight tracking. The balancing act can also manipulate the weight a wee bit -- but I travel for long periods of time and am mainly tracking delta(weight) and zero point offsets aren't my primary worry. Highly recommend for travelers trying to keep up with their progress!

I have had this scale for four years and I love it! It is so incredibly well made, I am truly impressed. Sleek, beautiful. It has traveled with me everywhere. It is light, tiny and super accurate. It comes with an attractive neoprene case which protects the scale fully. I have never even had to change batteries - it is still running on the original batteries from four years ago. A truly great product, I highly recommend it!!

This scales is indeed amazingly small and light - perfect for travel. With that comes a certain compromise in usability, of course - as many have pointed out, you need to figure out a good way to balance on this. The bigger you are, the harder this might be. At 6'1'', I did find it manageable. I usually position the scale somewhere where I can get a hold of something while I step on the scale, then let go.The thing that has me a bit concerned is accuracy. Right off the bat, this scale shows my weight different than my full-size scales at home. If this were a constant offset, like 1 pound more or such, it wouldn't be a big deal, but it varies from day to day. Also, if you weigh yourself 4 times in a row, you are likely to get a certain variation of the reading - sometimes over a pound! I don't know about others, but I am interested in at least a 0.4 pound accuracy - I don't gain 8 pounds form one day to the next, where a pound more or less would matter much.I bought this as a travel scale so I wouldn't have to miss out on weighing myself if I'm on the road for more than one night. I'm not real sure if I have something useable now...
