Crown Ribbed Anti-Fatigue Vinyl Mat, 27" by 36", Gray

I actually purchased this as something that my aging arthritic German Shepherd can lie on in our RV while traveling. I did air this outside for a few days because it has a strong chemical odor. Put it on the floor of the RV and my sweet old dog can ride in more comfort and it is not slippery either. I have not used it a floor mat to walk or stand on but it seems well made and comfy and would not hesitate to recommend it for it's intended purpose.No matter whether you use it for your home or for your pets I do recommend airing it out of doors for a few days before bringing it indoors, it really does have an awful odor, but the good thing is that most of it will go away after a few days out of doors.

I wanted something to go on the floor in front of our kitchen sink for dishes and standing in the area cooking for longer length of time, as our thick tile was tiring on the legs. This fit exactly the space I wanted, has a nice but not over plushed feeling to it, is light, easy to clean, and was much cheaper than many bigger named like items. I will be getting a few more for the garage, basement, and washroom.

I purchased my first mat to place in front of the kitchen sink. Then I moved it in front of my stove. It definitely feels good and I think I can feel a difference when I stand in the kitchen for too long in a spot that does not have the mat. Which is why I purchased a 2nd mat, so I can have both sink and stove location covered. The cleaning is also easy since it is made of vinyl. Even my husband says he can feel a difference, but I'm not really sure if he's just humoring me. Either way, I would recommend this antifatigue mat because it works and it is way less expensive than the fancy mats out there. The only issue is that it only comes in gray, so color coordinating in the kitchen may be difficult. However, it's way better than the bright blue that the same company also offers.

I have to rate this a 3. The texture is very soft, which makes it difficult to use as a mat for chairs or rolling tables. I was going to rate it a 2 for this. However, it is wonderful as a mat to place our litter box on for our cat, and another for her food dishes and water bowl. For that, I would mark it as a 4.With both things in mind, I average it to a 3. It was inexpensive and we found a good alternative use for it. We plan to purchase more for use as bath mats and kitchen mats.All in all a good buy.My advice, just be sure to use it for purposes it is well suited to, and do not try to force it into a job it is not good for.

I purchased this mat for my home office to protect the carpet on my floor form having indentations set it. The problem is the wheels do not roll on this mat , I guess because of the material it's made from. So while I solved one problem, I have created another.

I should've listened to the other reviewers and NOT bought this. It's a good mat for standing, but not for a desk chair with wheels. The wheels just sink into the mat and doesn't serve the purpose for what I bought it for. Now I have to buy a hard plastic mat to go over this one, as I figured it would serve the purpose of protecting my carpet from the plastic mat. (The last plastic mat I had left marks in the carpet.)

Had a kitchen mat in front of my sink, it was more like a bath mat, had some cushioning but was very hard to clean. Checked out some anti-fatigue mats at several stores but the price was very high. Got on line to shop around to see if I could find something cheaper. Saw this one and read the reviews most were very good. I thought for the price I would give it a try. I am so glad I did it is great! No more tired legs or feet from standing in one spot for a while. Easy to clean as well. I'm sure some might not like the gray color but for the price and comfort it is worth trying it out.I would recommend this mat to anyone who stands in one place for a time

The mat provides immediate comfort and relief to my feet. Tipped by another reviewer, I cut it in half lengthwise and layered onto itself for more cushioning and smaller size. It looks like a short runner along my L-shaped office desk at work and leaves space for a chair. So, I can alternate between seating and standing as I please. I noticed that mat works best for me when I am barefoot or wear athletic shoes with contoured rubber outer sole. Shoes on hard soles like my dress boots (on a flat heel), seem to cancel out the mat cushioning effect for my feet. The mat totally blends into my office with nice but metal furniture and greenish old carpet. At home, I would only use it in the garage, though, as it has no decorative value.
