Really enjoy this series
I have really enjoyed this series, The Days of Redemption. I love everything about these books--from cover to cover. I think the covers are beautifully done and the storyline throughout the series has been great and has brought up some unexpected things. Each book has had the same family, but a different person they were focusing on. However, I like that you get to see the problems of each resolved in one way or another...even if it's not what I had hoped for.Speaking of which, the ending of this book wasn't what I had hoped for at all! I understood and appreciated the ending because it was life, but a part of me wanted the other option to work and have it change Elsie's life. I like Landon all throughout this book. He was that stable, loving person that Elsie needed. There were times that I wanted to scream at Roman and Elsie's family and say that they need to give Elsie more independence. I was really glad when Elsie stood up for herself concerning her major decision that she had to make.I have liked every book that I have read by Shelley Shepard Gray. I'm captivated within the first sentence and that carries throughout the book. The issues are real, the endings aren't always perfect, but that's what I like about her. I'm looking forward to her next book coming out soon!

Good story; miserable editing and proofing
I've been reading Shelley Shepard Gray's Amish-themed books for many years and I especially appreciate the inspirational nature of her writing. I enjoyed the first two books in the Days of Redemption Series and Eventide, the conclusion to the series, ties up all the loose story ends very neatly, but as I was reading it, I wondered if all Ms. Gray's editors have abandoned her because the book is riddled with grammatical mistakes. It seems impossible that they could have missed so many of them. The number of grammatical errors that occurs in Eventide and, to a lesser extent in the other two Redemption books, made me think that the publishers were more concerned with rushing the books into print as quickly as possible to make a profit than they were with producing quality products. However, if you've read the first two Redemption books, you may want to read Eventide as well to find out how it all ends, but be prepared to be jarred by the mistakes that become more numerous and more glaring as you near the book's end.

Audio Version comment
I listened to the three books in this series, one after the other. The decision to change the narrator of this last book is unfortunate when you listen to them in this manner. It's like the characters all aged by 20 years which made the end to the series much less enjoyable. Something to take into consideration.

Eventide The Days of Redemption Series Book Three
After reading the first two books, I could hardly wait for Eventide. It was all I expected it to be. I loved everything about books one and two, and book three was the the perfect ending to the series. In fact I hated to see it end. I was hoping for a forth. Everyone who read the first two, must read book three. One of the best series I have read in a long time. My thanks to Shelley Shepard Gray.

MUST READ!!!
This is the third in a series of books that flows so well that you could read it alone or, as I preferred, to read it in the series as it is intended. The story line is so clear and as always when reading Gray's books I became a member of the community with a first hand seat as I watched the story evolve.

Immerse yourself in "Plain" culture ~
I am a big fan of Amish fiction and this series was excellent. Shelley Shepard Gray is one of my favorite authors of Amish fiction. Characters remind me of my Nana, when we were growing up. She was a big influence on me and two sisters. If you like this genre, you will love Shelley Shepard Gray.

I really enjoyed all 3 books in this series
I really enjoyed all 3 books in this series. Wish Shelley would write a 4th book so I can follow their story after book 3. I liked the characters and found it very well written.
