The unit is as wanted. It runs quietly and efficiently. I am pleased and would buy it again.

Like a Swiss mountain top! I have asthma, immune deficiency... so I'm very picky - and this air filter is best I've ever experienced!

We live on the big island of Hawaii where vog is a real issue here for our lungs. This filter was said to clean the air for vog and other air pollution. It does. We close all our windows to get the best results. But instead of having colds/sinus infections linger like they use to because of the vog, now it actually helps us to heal quicker. A great investment for us.

Fantastic air purifier for large rooms. We originally purchased this air purifier for our MMA academy which would get a total of 100 people in and out a week to keep down on airborne contaminants and possible mold spores - it was sufficient for our 2000 square foot facility but one thing noted was that in somewhat damp conditions the metal tends to rust. However for the price and the quality of this air purifier I would definitely buy another one for our home once we can afford it. It helped keep the dust down and we even brought it home to help after construction to get rid of the dust from our home construction. You could immediately tell a difference in the overall smell of the facility and the dust build-up once it was gone for a few days. Great machine. It is easy to replace the filters however would love it if we could find them for cheaper. $200 for maintenance every few months seems extremely high if we were to fall on tough times again.

I wrote to Airpura, asking the following: "Although I've looked at the technical page on your website, I'm not able to find any technical specification or performance test results on your website (other than the ANSI criteria for motors). Can you send me performance data and/or test data of your produces for removal of VOCs and particulates?"Response: "We cannot give you the complete performance data of our machines, but we can tell you that our certification is EN-1822."Conclusion: Questionable. EN-1822 is a broad standard for filtration. Airpura does not published performance data.
