These spiral bands did stay in my hair, but would grab on selected strands making my scalp sore where the hair was too tight. I found myself taking them out and replacing the spiral band multiple time a day to try and relieve some of the strand pulling. The coils are durable, but did not seem to pop back in shape right away once they had been stretched.

Coils are thicker than most, are harder to stretch around hair and do not return to original size as expected. I’m am returning these.

I have thick heavy hair and these are awesome for holding my various styles. No pull. No headache. And they last. I go thru bands like water but these are very resilient and hold shape
