This product is one piece of steel (head & handle) with a performance plastic sheathing around the handle. Far superior. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great hammer very durable

Upon opening the package, I was immediately able to identify this as a hammer. It has a claw for pulling nails and the hammer end was perfect for hammering things. I knew right away this would be perfect for sinking nails in wood and other things. The design is nice and it really is easy to use. No crazy assembly required. Right out of the box, it was good to go. 10 out of 10 for hammering qualities. Would not recommend for use by infants. I'm preparing to update my will to ensure my first born son gets this some day. Was a bit disappointed I couldn't use it as a drill as well, but you get what you pay for. HAMMER...yay!!!!

What can I say, this is quite a sturdy hammer, well-made, incredibly aesthetic. It's modern looking and heavy. I'm definitely getting the straight claw one to complement.

I had to replace my old hammer I had for over 30 years now. I thought I would give Dewalt a try since all Sears around me are closed. This hammer is balanced very well and no vibration follows through the handle no matter how hard you hit something. I would definitely recommend this hammer over all of them out there. Very impressed yet again Dewalt !

This multifunctional hammer is not only ergonomically easy to hold but is also light weight (16 oz. as advertised which is convenient). Plus side is it can also be used to remove nails not only the conventional way but from the side as well! L
