HENGMEI Shower Chair Shower Stool Shower Bench with Adjustable Back and Armrest Height Adjustable Bathing Aid for Elderly

I purchased this chair for my father who is none too steady on his feet. After looking at different chairs I settled for this one, which ticked a lot of the boxes for what I required (backrest, arm rests, seat drainage and height adjustment).The chair is quite easy to assemble and no tools are required. I would advise that if you purchase this chair look carefully at the assembly diagrams as the instructions are all in German. In particular look at the position of the anchoring and adjustment slots. It only took me 15 minutes to assemble, and that was with taking it apart and reassembling the chair (I didn't look close enough at the diagrams). There is a part that is not shown in the assembly instructions. It is a white plastic clip that I'm assuming can be used to secure a walking stick. All in all it is a good quality chair and at a reasonable price.

Disliked German instructions and I was on the verge of returning product because of this and also I couldn't workout how the back attached to the chair!But big thank you to one of the customer reviews. You use 2 of the short screws to attach the top of the headrest to the bars that hold it and 2 long screws on the bottom holes. I then used 2 long screws to secure the head rest bars under the seat, this took me a while to figure out.The seat is sturdy and will serve its purpose for my Mother in Law to be safe in the shower.

This was night when my mum moved in with us. She previously had a large chair in her shower room but our smaller bathroom would not have coped with the large size. This chair is easy to move around plus lightweight manning it less cumbersome.

The chair was used for my mam in a wet room and I like the way you can adjust the legs to whatever height you want.

Bought this on Amazon prime and it took 5 days to arrive? After it did arrive I tried to assemble it but found there were no instructions. Although not that difficult to build it obviously took a lot longer than it should have if there had been instructions. Some of the captive nuts came loose when tightening the bolts. Note to anyone else building this, do not tighten the bolts any more than medium finger tight. Overall not the greatest building experience.

The assembly instructions are not particularly clear, but once assembled, the chair is sturdy and good for purpose.
