Heavier than expected, but a very nice addition to a wall. Easy to display items of various sizes. Follow directions for wall mounting- it’s a heavy one!

The screws weren't helpful for the hanging hooks but after a few attempts everything went in and up just fine.

True crap. Not machined properly and templates and parts to hang on the wall are useless. DON'T BUY. I'm returning.

I originally found these shelves at Target, but obviously I decided to purchase them off Amazon.Product positives:-Aesthetically, they look great (I bought the espresso color instead of black or white). They're made from standard mdf material, but they have a nice, glossy finish that makes them look higher end.-Extremely easy to assemble. As the name suggests, there are 5 pieces that just slide into place with each other.-Very functional for a relatively inexpensive price.-Comes with a set of hooks which you can opt to install directly into the shelves. I did not have a need for the hooks and didn't install them, so I can't speak to their integrity or the level of difficulty in installing them.-Wall mounting hardware is included.Product negatives:-Less than perfect condition. Like many decor pieces that are ordered online and delivered to your home, not all are going to arrive in impeccable condition. I ordered two sets and one looked less "used" than the other, but both units had minor scuffs, abrasions, etc. None of the damaged areas were major nor would they be noticeable unless you were looking for them.-Moderate difficulty with installation. The design of how the product hangs on the wall is interesting. The big rectangle in the center of the product is where the four brackets are that rest on the screws you put in the wall. Instead of one bracket being placed at each corner of the rectangle, (if you're looking at the product in the picture), one is placed horizontally in the upper left-hand corner, one is placed vertically in the upper left-hand corner, one is placed horizontally in the lower left-hand corner and the last is placed vertically in the upper right-hand corner. Included in the instructions is a strip of paper (looks like a ruler) to help guide you on where to put the screws in the wall. For someone who is not very savvy with installing shelves like this, it could be tricky and frustrating.-Delicate drywall anchors. You have the ability to hang the shelves into drywall with screws and anchors or into studs with just the screws. I had to use all the anchors and two of the heads of the eight anchors I used cracked while I was screwing them into the pilot holes.I am very satisfied with these shelves overall and would recommend them, but I'd advise one to be gentle when using the hardware.
