I don't think I have a single good thing to say about this product. For starters, the box it came it had been previously opened and tampered with, the USB ports don't line up properly, the plastic inside bit of one of the ports came out with one of my flash drives (stuck inside it), the power cord was loose and power would cut out entirely, and lastly it can't support more than two things plugged in at once. I'm not sure if it was a power distribution issue, but plugging in anything more than one external 2.5 inch drive and a flash drive would make everything shut down.All of this mixed with the marginal overall build quality and lack of weight (for stability purposes) mean that just about any thing else would be a better buy.Needless to say I returned it .

I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this one. The outer construction of this device is good with the aluminum housing but one of the tabs inside one of the port connectors snapped off when I removed a cable from it on my first use. The actual port receptors on this device don't appear to be very well made.

Does the job. 3 stars for the material and that it sometimes stops working and disconnects the plugged devices. Not a big issue.

I like this hub, however, when plugging the USB jack into the hub it's upside down to how you would think it goes. The only other gripe that I have it that the cord going from the hub is a bit short when plugged into my iMac, not a huge deal, but somewhat annoying. This would be great for a Macbook or any laptop, maybe not so much for the iMac crowd.

Probably will work fine with other products but does not work the Apple Ipad Air or Ipad 3.
