The World of IT: The Official Behind-the-Scenes Companion to IT and IT CHAPTER TWO

Considering the 2017 remake of IT is probably my favorite movie of the last ten years, at least, I’m not sure why it took me so long to finally purchase this book but I’m glad I did. It’s a large, hardcover book filled to the brim with concept art, behind the scenes set photos, full color production stills, and much more, printed on thick, high quality stock. Definitely a sharp looking collector’s item for any fan of Pennywise or surrogate member of the Losers Club. That said, my only nitpick is the actual writing itself. The sentences are short and fragmental and the whole thing reads like one long blurb, and I thought the direct quotes or interviews with the cast and crew could have been a little more insightful. I realize the real incentive for most people here is the photos and general presentation, but I thought I’d mention it for you do with what you will. Overall I’m just happy this book exists at all and will rate it five stars anyway, perhaps giving it a small benefit of the doubt.

Great behind-the-scenes book of the making of the films It Part I & II. Lots of candid shots throughout. Shots from the sets show more detail than what you can see on the screen, too. Interviews with the cast and crew shed light on the movie also. Well worth the price.

i absolutely love this! i was sort of hesitant to buy it since i didn’t know if it was a good book or not but oh my goodness was i mistaken. the information and photographs show so much and to tie everything together perfectly, they give you a postcard of derry maine and it’s so pretty. i personally love the sections and how organised the book is from the losers, to the town, to pennywise himself. absolutely amazing job with making this and the ending collage of photos really is nothing short of wow.

I love collecting art/the making of books from my favorite movies and shows, and this one is so perfect! I love getting to read everything about how the movie came to be and how the effects and storyboards were utilized! And FANTASTIC concept art!! It even came with the postcard Ben gave to beverly(without the writing)!

My daughter is a HUGE IT fan so when she mentioned this book for a possible Christmas gift I knew I had to get it for her. I wasn't sure what to expect but the quality is far, far better than I could have hoped for. She has spent hours reading and just looking at it. It is a beautiful book and a true collectors item for any fan of the movie.

This book is to die for. Its filled with so much knowledge about the characters and the storyline. Plus it has tons of concept art as well which is just amazing to look it. The book also has a "Derry, Maine" post card in it. Just like the one Ben wrote the poem for Bev on! The book is a bit dinged up in some places. But not enough for me to really complain. 10/10 reccomend it for any diehard IT fan.

I don't normally do very many reviews but I felt like one needed to be done with this book!! After receiving a copy in the mail recently iam absolutely floored by how much passion and detail went in to making this companion to the movie. It has everything you could want from a making of book, such things as concept art ,character bios, location shots and even a whole section dedicated to Penny wise and his many forms!! This book exceeded my expectations!! So if your a Stephen King fan and love IT like me then take a chance and order a copy, and remember. ...YOU'LL FLOAT TOO!!

VERY comprehensive book that is not just a bunch of fantastic pictures (which there are hundreds), but also hours of stuff to read that give you the complete A - Z story on the making of both movies. A great deal of time, thought & meticulous detail went into this book & it shows. This is a must have for fans that really want probably the best behind the scenes introspective peek into everything that is IT available. Highly recommended.

Lovely quality book, and it’s huge so definitely value for money. Lots of content I’ve never seen before, behind the scenes, sketches and some stunning still photographs of various scenes, locations around Derry, and characters. I bought as a gift for my husband (@100horrors podcast) but will be sure to pinch it for myself too!
