Gospel classics sung by a master
I saw Rev. Phipps sing at Congressman John Lewis's service at the Capitol and was blown away by his voice. Sorry to say I'd never heard of him before that moment. That afternoon I ordered this collection of songs and have been listening since. I grew up Baptist, so these are songs with a lot of emotional power for me. And Rev. Phipps's voice is one of the finest, purest, most powerful I've ever heard.
