Stainless steel is my parrots' dr's choice. It's also my choice.This size is difficult to find.I need containers that clean easily , well ,can hold up to parrots playing with them.My parrots like to dunk food into their water & s.s. doesn't hold any odors at all.When I buy s.s. containers, I don't have to ever replace them.These are thinner than my others . I could bend these if I tried but they're working fine.I have cage holders for them so I haven't tried the ring holder part to report.Update:Bowl has split clean through at 3 mos wear with Double Yellow Headed Amazon.1 attached photo.

Good dish, blends well with the cage
I bought this dish for my african grey. He has learned to removed other dishes but so far he has not messed with this one. I use this little dish for wet food as he won't eat a whole lot of it. It works great for this purpose

The wingnut and holder was rusted, though the bowl was clean. Bowl also didn't fit securely in the ring. I want to use this for a travel cage, but I'm concerned the whole bowl could fall out of the holder and injure my birds, so I returned it.

I thought it was going to be 4 inches in diameter. It wasn't. It was actually 3 3/4 inches. That's why I bought it to fit with a 4inch holder.

The bowl is o.k. Not the service advertised .
A bit small , so I decided to return it . It cost 9.99 + " free " shipping . Then I returned it I've got a refund for 5$ since the shipping is free only if you buy it , not if you returned it . If I would know that I wouldn't returned it . Just lost 5$ but learned a good lesson - only buy stuff from Amazon or read ( if available at all ) ALL information very carefully .Won't do it again and will be more careful who I buy stuff from .

Nice treat bowl
I have a blue and gold macaw and she needed a new treat bowl. It works great and separates her treats from her main food bowl. She did figure out how to get the bowl out of the ring and toss it when its empty, though, which i was hoping to avoid.

Pefect chinchilla bowl
This is the perfect bowl for a chinchilla that likes to tip over their food dish. Very happy with this bowl. Good size and very sturdy

I love these feed/water dishes as do my birds.
This bowl is easy to install - easy to remove the bowls from the ring to refill and I love the stainless for easy care and cleaning.
