I bought the weighted vest to condition myself for hiking. The vest reaches to the end of my sternum which is the length I want. It's a good conversation starter. Big and tall people can use the pack.I am deducting a star because it lacked visual appeal right out of the box. The front and back of the vest are actually two separate segments held in place by Velcro and straps. I was expecting metal ingots but instead had black nylon bags filled with sand. the sewing at the mouth of the bag was loose which almost made me return it. I was also surprised that the segments were held together on the sides by a big piece of Velcro that goes across the front and loops into a metal ring. I was hoping for a more engineered fastening system. It can be difficult/impossible to do crunches and the bag will want to slide back if you don't have the weights balanced.However, after using the pack for several months, the bag has held up. the fabric is good condition but you will have square sweat areas on your shirt. I really like the faded stars and stripes look. I started at 20 pounds and worked my way to 40 pounds. I do see a difference in the number of miles on the elliptical between excluding/using the pack.For walking/conditioning, the pack will do the job. For the premium price, I wish they had thought about over-engineering some of the features.

Great vest and great material. I needed something to increase my strength when doing exercises that relied on my body weight. This weight vest really made me work harder doing push ups, chin ups, dips, etc. It also helped in building leg strength doing squats and lunges.The ability to adjust the individual weights is a strong point of this product and the waist strap kept it stable on my torso. I recommend this to anyone looking to increase overall strength.

This vest has many adjustment points on it. It takes some work to get it set up and adjusted to body type but once you do it’s comfortable to wear while working out. I run with 20lbs and it had a small amount of bounce but definitely better than some of other vests I’ve tried for running. Would buy again

I love this vest.I'm 5'9" and 170 lbs and this vest fits me perfectly. No problem squatting with it. Gentle on shoulders when you do pull ups and push ups. Also you can make it quite tight around your torso, so it doesn't bounce as much when running. Overall highly recommended. Bars are 3 lbs each I can get even distribution of weights when loaded to 24 lbs (4 bars in front and 4 bars on the back).

Purchased this vest for my son who runs in Tough Mudder races. Received this quickly. He has had previous vests but wore them out. This vest is made very well and should last. He said it is very easy to put on and very comfortable and well balanced. The only problem was the covering on the weights was not stitched closed or sewed poorly. After contacting the seller I received some new weights. Their customer service is awesome and exceptionally helpful. Took care of my problem immediately.

This vest is well made. As for the fit, I am 6 foot tall, but the vest fairly short, so I think it would fit most people. I weigh about 200 pounds, have an average frame and a barrel chest. Still, this vest fits me perfectly. BTW - It was crazy how much of a difference adding just 10 pounds to the makes on a hike!

Excellent durability. It handles a beating. I love that the weights are iron and not some sand bag. I have worn this through all kinds of workouts. It does the job. Just dont hang upside down with this.

This is a good vest for the price. I’m 5’1 and this vest fits without rubbing in the wrong spots. I love the pattern.The thing that drives me crazy is the fastener for the best. There’s a big piece of Velcro that you lay across the front torso. You have 2 d rings on each side on the back piece. You have to loop the Velcro piece from the front through these 2 d rings then fasten it to the front. It’s hard to do while wearing the vest. My husbands been helping me whenever I’m about to work out.I guess for the price I can deal with it.
