2 Hearts for Cav & Greer
After reading the synopsis for DIRTY GIRL, it was quickly added to my TBR list. It sounded like it was going to be a witty, funny, sexy and entertaining read, and while the story starts out that way, it quickly turns into something that’s just sex, sex and more sex with a smidgeon of a story thrown in. While that might be perfect for some people, it was a disappointment for me.I couldn’t connect with Greer, who throughout the entire story tries and fails to stand up for herself. Her lack of strength was evident early on when she slept with Cav within minutes of seeing him for the first time since he left her abruptly, and without a word, three years beforehand. As for Cav, well, it’s hard to like Cav, who thinks that being dominant means treating a woman like a child throwing a tantrum. Thinking and saying things like “she’s begging to be taken in hand”, “she needs a keeper”, and “If your brother isn’t going to keep a leash on you to keep you safe, then I will.” doesn’t come across as dominant in my opinion, but rather controlling and demeaning. I was also not a fan of him calling her a slut or that he turned everything into a threat of sexual punishment. The dom and dirty talk felt cheesy and don’t even get me started on that anal sex scene.DIRTY GIRL is told in dual POVs, is the beginning of a new series and ends in a cliffhanger. It’s clear that Greer’s brother, Creighton, has had a series written about him before, and if you haven’t read his series you’ll feel like you’re out of the loop in a couple of scenes. DIRTY GIRL is a novella so the story moves at a fairly quick pace, with some of the chapters being only a couple of pages long. It also includes some flashback scenes which I felt weren’t worked into the story in a seamless way. If you like stories that involve bullying men and an abundance of sex, then you’ll enjoy this one. Sadly, it wasn’t for me, and I was really looking forward to enjoying this one.

Hot alpha male, off the chart chemistry!
Blurb:Cavanaugh “Cav” Westman is a blue-collar man turned Hollywood heartthrob. Greer Karas is an attorney who is also the sibling of a powerful and wealthy businessman. When Cavanaugh meets Greer he’s instantly drawn to her. Greer, too, is very much attracted to the handsome construction worker.Creighton Karas – Greer’s brother – is opposed to the relationship on account that Cav is a gold digger. Greer isn’t deterred by her brother’s judgment and continues to pursue a relationship with Cav that is until he suddenly disappears. The family fortune and Creighton’s critical opinion of him made Cav determined to amass his own wealth. When he vanishes from Greer’s life he vows to return only when he’s made a name for himself.Three years later… After Greer’s new boyfriend cheats on her, Greer is broken-hearted. Then during a drunken episode Greer posts a racy personal ad. When Cav reappears at Greer’s doorstep claiming to be the man she needs in her life, he sends both their lives on a tailspin affecting them as much as the Karas family.Review*spoilers possible*Cav is handsome and very protective, Cav is also alpha male through and through He’s in love with Greer and would stand up to her brother any day. What I didn’t like about Dirty Girl is how Creighton bullies Greer. Equally bizarre is how Cav becomes famous, how did he end up in Hollywood? All the reader knows is that he disappears from Greer’s life and reemerges three years later as a “star”. This book is a book in a series so perhaps there’s a back story to the Hollywood twist.Ms. March’s ability to craft a decadent storyline is admirable. She has an uncanny talent for writing sexy and provocative stories. Dirty Girl is a well-written erotic romance, however, a major drawback is that it ends in a cliff-hanger; I did not see that coming. I was disappointed at the lack of ‘resolution’. Either which way, I enjoyed reading the book very much. I give Dirty Girl four stars.

A great start to a duet series! Can’t wait for the conclusion!
Dirty Girl was the first book in the Dirty Girl Duet series by Meghan March.Greer Karas was the sister to Creighton in the Dirty Billionaire series. She was hilarious then and even better in her own story.Cavanaugh “Cav” Westman was a gorgeous Hollywood superstar. He met Greer prior to his fame and she fell hard and fast. However, he left her without a word and now he’s back in full force, with no real explanation.Dirty Girl was told with a dual POV. I loved both characters but they haven’t quite clicked together for me yet. There was a lot of history that wasn’t filled in yet and I was craving more. I wasn’t sold on the “no explanation” on why he walked in the past. There was too much water under the bridge for there not to be a major explanation at the onset. I liked the story but it was missing something for me. It of course ended with a cliff hanger, so the story was definitely about to take off with promise of depth and complexity. Hopefully the next book will add further development to the story.Additionally, If I hadn’t read Creighton’s story in the Dirty Billionaire series first, I wouldn’t have liked him much. It’s obvious he loved his sister but he treated her like she didn’t have a brain and was a hindrance to his company success. I wasn’t fond of that angle but I loved him previously so I’m expecting to love him again as the series progresses. All in all it was a good start to the series. It was well written and a solid foundation for what’s to come. I loved both characters so I have high hopes for the conclusion in Dirty Love.

Annoying
I thought this book had real potential, if you ignore the fact that Cav (our hero) comes back after a three year absence and 'woos' our heroine by getting his cock out.Crass.The heroine is weak and spineless which is disappointing. The cliff hanger ending is downright absurd. The author then has the audacity to charge £3.49 to get to the conclusion of this garbage.I wouldn't waste my money.

Breathtaking
Another piece of the Casso family puzzle is revealed here as Creighton Karas’s sister Greer reconnects with Cavanaugh Westman, the one that got away from her three years ago. This whole Casso family saga is gripping and addictive reading. The world that they inhabit is intriguing, glamorous but with a seedy underbelly that makes for a thrilling read. I can’t wait to dive into the conclusion to this duet.

Ends on a bombshell!!
This first part of the duet has been so good and I’ve loved the relationship between Cav & Greer. I like going back to their history to get more of their past together and am desperate to know about the secrets - then boom!! Bombshell dropped right at the end! I was not expecting that at all!!! Can’t wait to read part two!!

This results in melt down, but the interest of a previous lost love Hollywood bad boy Cavanagh Westman. The story of love lust, intrigue, and mystery unfold in another rollercoaster story. Cliff hanger alert too, but upside., book 2 already out.

I'm in absolute awe of Meghan March as an amazing author!!
Holy cow, I am on a Meghan March marathon and each word I read is simply mesmerizing. This author is new to me this week (yes I realize now I've been missing out) but wow she has just propelled herself to the very top of my favourite author list. March's writing style is such that once you start you can't stop. I loved the characters Greer and Cav they are passionate - oh boy are they passionate,in fact they are on fire. This book is so hot you will need a cold shower at the end. I can't wait for the next book to be released, but in the meantime I will delight in the other series' by this outstanding author. I happily award this book 5 passionate starts!!!
