It does the job to keep pain at bay
(Updated) A month after the ball of my right foot started hurting from standing/walking all day at work, I looked for a solution and found these. I put the pads on and they really did help with the pain! I'd wear them to work all day and noticed it wasn't as bad when it was over. Didn't fix the problem but it helps. Now, after 2 months of COVID quarantine, I gave my feet a break and my metatarsal pain went away. I went back to work and I still wear these as a preventative measure. Hopefully I stay pain-free. I initially gave these 4 stars because I can still kind of feel it wrapped SLIGHTLY uncomfortably around my toe. But honestly, it's not that big of a difference. I don't even notice it unless I think about it. So I'll give it 5 stars. They deserve it. The company owner is also very responsive. Instructions said to apply powder after washing, so I asked the owner what kind and he said baby powder. I don't have any so I just put the pads on as is. I'm not concerned about adhesion because I put socks over them. They do slide around a bit and maybe it's because I don't use the powder? But either way, there's not that many places it can slide to when it's strapped to your toe. Haven't yet tried them without socks though, and probably never will anyway. These are also very easily washable in the sink. It's the first thing I do when I get home. This a very decent product, and I say try these pads if you have pain on the ball of your foot!

So far, so good (updated)
Update: I’m lowering my initial 5 star review to 4 stars for the following reason; one downfall of this soft, very cushy metatarsal pad is, because it’s so flexible, the “toe loop” stretches, thus allowing the pad that is to assist with cushioning the ball of the foot to be pulled by my sock/s and move from the area. I still feel this product is helping with the pain in the ball of my feet, and toes on my right foot. Again, it’s very cushy.....I just wish there was a way to keep the “toe loop” from stretching out so much. I have pain in the ball of my foot and in my two last toes. Even though I constantly stretch my feet, and gets massages and acupuncture, the pain remains. I purchased these foot cushions, and honestly I have felt some relief. I've only had them a couple of days, so I can't provide long term information, but I would say, if you have any type of pain in the toe and/or ball region of your foot, definitely give these a try. I did not utilize the arch support included, as they must be attached to the shoe, and since I wear numerous shoes for various reasons, I felt the adhesion would become less "sticky".

These pads DO NOT stay in place!
If I could rate these cushions less than one star, I would! These are a complete waste of money! You can’t even pull a sock over them when they’re in place because they bunch up and curl up and totally leave the position they are meant to be in, that is, protecting the callous that’s giving you problems in the metatarsal area. Plus once you reach in your sock and get them uncurled and laid flat in the right position, they then totally stretch out of position in the course of walking on them for a couple of hours. Don’t waste your money! Buy ones that are made of fabric, not this sticky gooey gel! These

Gel pad works great.
The gel and placement on my foot provided the right amount of comfort so I could walk pain free. Once you hook the pad over your toe, you must hold it in place to get your sock over it without folding it over. With a sock on, it stays in place.

It didn't work
The cushions were comfortable but the toe loop broke after 3 weeks. I actually bought these twice hoping it wouldn't happen again. But it did.

Gel pads work for neuromas!
This gel pad really provides softness for the ball of a foot with a neuroma. Mine is quite swollen so it feels like I'm walking with something like a lump in ball of my shoe. I haven't been able to wear my normal 1.5" heels even though they aren't very high. The toe loop on this pad helps to keep the soft gel pad in place although it can slip around in looser shoes. It doesn't bother me at all. I also ordered this brand's style that goes around the whole foot and it stays in place better. But you see it in sandal style shoes so I'm using both versions depending on what shoes I'm wearing. I compared these gel pads to Walkize pads, but those weren't nearly soft enough. I also had a hard time palcing the Walkize pads so that their ridge didn't bother my toes. These pads are easy to wash, easy to wear, and you dont' have to worry about adhesive. They provide real relief from the pain of neuromas! I'm hoping if I wear them for a few months, the inflamed nerve will go down so I won't have to wear them forever. I may be back to review them further in 6 months or so!

Stopped looking for a solution when I found these!
The Brison Metatarsal Pad was my fifth attempt at finding a solution for a numb/dead/tingling in the center of the ball of my left foot. I'd tried pads that stick to your feet, cloth designs and pads in the shoe. All worked a little bit, but each one had some type of issue that was causing a different problem . . . either changing my gate or the cloth would bunch up or jam between my toes. Since the design of this product is all gel it does not jam into the webbing of my toes. The toe loop holds it in place perfectly - no fuss, no muss. These have been a great solution for me. Give 'em a try . . . I think you'll be glad you did!
