My hair is white silver, the kind you want to have when you age. This product just makes it shine, people ask me what makes my hair so shiny? They say things like: if my hair was that beautiful, I would not color it. This product, and it only takes a small amount - is the perfect compliment to my white silver (platinum?) hair. I have a lot of thick, wavy/curly hair, and I decided to start fresh with a pixie cut a few weeks ago. This stuff is seriously magic. I'm not sure if it's the combination of products I'm using (primarily, Plastique Extreme Volumizer and some oil at the ends) or this alone, but my hair has never been smoother or under control. The last time I had a pixie cut, I had to straighten it every day, and I'm now able to just air dry it without a problem! I'm shocked how simple to manage it has made this new haircut considering my hair wants to curl up and do its own thing when left to its own devices. I just wish I had known about it when my hair was long! I would happily repurchase!

As I am aging, my hair is getting gray and dull. I absolutely LOVE this product to restore the natural shine of my hair. I only need a small amount (one pump from the bottle) onto the palms of my hands and run through my dry hair. A little goes a long way, and the Aveda scent is very light. I highly recommend. Note: This is not for volume, but for a light shine or smoothing your hair.

If you have actually used this product before, you will be disappointed with whatever is being delivered in this bottle. Product consistency and aroma is completely different from the original. For the price, I am very disappointed.

This brand came highly recommended so I couldnt wait to order! Although I was disappointed that the title calls it smoothing lotion however it is oil. I had already purchased an oil and wanted a smoothing lotion to use in combination. The title description should be changed to reflect the actual consistency however it works really well as an oil. Not too oily but good coverage.

Product shipped within a few days and arrived as expected. Product itself has a light but pleasant scent and does not make hair feel greasy. I have thick hair and this product works great for flyaway frizzles and bringing out the shine after straightening. Highly recommend this product!

This product was recommended by my stylist a couple years ago. I have an autoimmune disease which causes my hair to be very dry and britle as well as thinning. This the 2nd bottle I've ordered and I can attest it's done wonders for my hair. Of course, it can't make it thicker, but its definitely made it less dry, its not brittle and breaking off anymore, and looks much healthier. At first I was a little apprehensive about the price, but I use it daily and the bottle lasts me almost a year....a bargain when I look at it that way!

I love this product. Have used it on my long hair for 12 years. It smells great and has no silicone which other smoothing fluids tend to have and which dry out hair.I add this to the ends of my hair while damp and then add a couple of drops into my palms once my hair is dry, and gently smooth over my long hair to smooth down any fly always
