Victorinox Chef's, Black Fibrox, 6 in.

This knife is great. Suspiciously, one of my cut coat knives disappeared in the middle of my home renovation, and I really wasn't in a place to spend $150 on a new knife. This knife is just as good or better. I'll say it's a lot thinner than the other chef knives I've had, but it is sharp. It feels good, handles well, really happy with it. We'll probably get a whole set of Victoria Knox knives as I continue to build out the new kitchen. It's a little lighter than I would prefer. I think I like a little more of a sturdier knife. But for the price point and the quality, I'm a fan.

Geeat size for my wife’s hands. Light, sharp out of the box. Doesn’t rust in the dishwasher.

I just started using this knife today. What an immense improvement on my previous parring knife! Its sharpness made cutting up veggies that much quicker, more precise and efficient. I love that it’s also dishwasher safe. Sorry I didn’t buy it sooner.

The best kitchen knife I've ever owned.

I have an 8" Victorinox knife, purchased when I saw it as a best buy from America's Test Kitchen; also have their paring knife and two serrated ones, all excellent. But as a petite person, the 8" knife felt a bit unwieldy and I confess I got seduced by some of the fancy, pricier knives I'm seeing on the market. Tried a few, which I ended up returning (thanks, Amazon!) and almost bought the one Christopher Kimball of Milk Street is now advertising all over the internet, but then saw that Victorinox makes a 6" chef's knife and so happy I got it. At first I thought the narrow blade and shape a bit odd, but this is one fabulous, sharp, easy to use knife and is now my go to for pretty much everything. Even cutting a rutabaga, which is very dense, was easier than it had ever been. No need to spend $60 and up for a fabulous knife; this one does the job just as well if not better.

For the price, this is about as good as you'll find. It's REALLY sharp and I've used it for 2-3 weeks now and haven't had to submit it to my electric counter-top knife sharpener. It feels great in my hand, it's easy to clean (please... don't put your good knives in the dishwasher!), and if or when it fails to hold a good edge, I won't mind buying the same product again.

This knife is very sharp, and the handle is comfortable for my smaller hand. It’s so much easier to use than our 8 inch chef’s knife.

I purchased this knife and received it the next morning. I took it out to test it on a pear. It went through it so easily and with great control. Very accurate slices, extremely thin, and so much control with this knife. It is extremely sharp so extra care will need to be taken. It is lightweight, and made out of great quality steel. It is the perfect size to slice and dice, and especially the more finer work. I will be purchasing another 2 of these and a few more for present at Christmas. If I was to get a present like this I would be well happy. As it is such a useful tool that makes the work so much easier. 100% recommended.
