Fantastic product
This product is amazing for saving breastmilk! It catches your milk flow on one side whilst you’re pumping the other. Just remember to keep an eye on it as I accidentally didn’t one of the first times I used it and it fell off as it became heavy and as a result, must have lost it’s suction. I was so upset I lost a whole thing of milk! Lesson learnt and I emptied it regularly into a bottle. The product does eventually go a funny creamy/yellow colour if left in sterilising solution (I kept putting it in my cold water steriliser) to the point you can’t tell how much milk is in it so if you buy this just sterilise it before use than allowing it to sit in the solution for a while. Overall I think this product is amazing and I wish it had existed with my first two children. I’d certainly recommend it to others!

Easier, faster and works better than my expensive electric pump
For my first child I only tried to hand express and also bought a very pricey electric pump with all the bells and whistles. However, I never successfully managed to collect milk with these. For my second child, I heard everyone raving about this hakaa so thought, why not give it a go? I am so glad I did, I have never collected this much milk so easily!! It even helped in the early days to gather colostrum as my baby will only take the one favoured boob, so every time I feed I have the hakaa going on the other side so I don't have mismatched sizes and both produce for my baby equally. There's a lot of youtube videos with tips and tricks to use this and make it more comfortable, one thing I've also found helps for comfort is placing it in the fridge before your milk is about to come in as this is when you're most delicate and the cold silicone grasp actually helps. If you find your baby kicks it off, you can actually have a more secure hold by folding back the mouth of the hakaa and then popping it on.

Excellent
Love it and would recommend it to everyone who breastfeeds. My friend recommended it to me and I'm glad she did. I get the most benefit when using it first thing in the morning when both breasts are engorged (she sleeps through as she's 8 months). Before my supply settled down I would stick on both breasts whilst I got her up etc so I didn't leak all over my feet. Now my supply has settled I just stick it on the side that isn't being fed from and collect the let down. It stays put really well and is easy enough if you need to take it out with you for a long day out and your child has decided they would rather feed from a bottle than you....

Great Product
It’s great for catching let downs. Downside was my baby would constantly kick it away. So I always had to use one hand to hold my baby and the other hand to hold it. Which was stressful.

Best pump I've purchased
I'm a first time mum with a 7 week old baby. This is the best pump I've bought. I've bought a £15 manual hand pump before which hurts your hand after a while and takes longer to get the milk out. I also have tried the medala electric pump in the neonatal unit which I had to hold them on my breasts. This pump is easy as you don't have to hold it if you suction it well enough. It doesn't Hurt If you attach it correctly. It removes the milk well and for the price it's worth it. I've also got the ladybugs which are great to use instead of pads which just waste the milk and also saves you money! Buy it!

It’s okay
I used the Hakka for a bit when I used to breastfeed when my baby was a newborn. I never use it anymore. It is good to catch the access milk but idk…. I wouldn’t buy it again if I went back in time.

Life saver
I was struggling especially during feeding and this changed my life. Instead of losing precious milk you can easily collect it and then store it. I was skeptic at start but it does work and it sucks very well. I don’t use it as a pump as it would be enough but only while breastfeeding. Very good also easy to clean.

Didn't work for me
Didn't work at all for me. I also had a blocked duct that I was hoping it would help to ease. But I couldn't get any milk out hardly. Maybe it's just a personal thing but this one actually Hurt to use. I don't see what other people see in this and I was really hoping to
