This second inspirational book from the author, gives the reader many insights into the different levels of consciousness on the gong journey. A gem of a book, and a joy to read.The first part of the book gives great detail in working with the gong in various situations for therapy. There is valuable guidance on technique, on using other instruments in a therapy session, also some interesting history, and facts about many different gongs. The second part of the book goes deeply into the more esoteric subjects. The author leads us to an understanding of how our consciousness expands in giant leaps through working with the healing sounds of the gongs.It is a mind of information on the esoteric levels involved, for all working with the finer energies for healing, and it is an invaluable aid to understanding these levels of awareness. This comes from a very gifted sound healer and musician, who speaks and teaches totally from the heart. There are many interesting examples from the author's life experiences, giving insight, and a deeper understanding into many of our own experiences.It is an aid to furthering advances in gong awareness, to understanding the deepening of our consciousness, and to reaching the deeper levels within us, and our spirituality. There is a realisation that we do not simply learn to play the gong, but in approaching and playing the instrument in the correct way, we are developing, and raising our level of consciousness too.This book is an absolute must for anyone interested in both the power of sound for healing, and the gong. Very highly recommended.
