This beautiful, silky soft duvet is exactly as pictured with the colors very true. Though it is washable, I may dry clean just to preserve it as is and not risk any changes. I would like to get an extra set of the pillow shams and have sent an email to the seller with my request. At any rate, I love this duvet, especially the subtle red and blue lines that allow for some interesting throw pillow colors to pick up those threads and add a hit of excitement to the neutrals. I highly recommend this!

I really like this duvet set. The color is light yellow - exactly as described. The threat count is accurate. I can definitely recommend. I haven't quite figured out which mattress cover to use with them. White looks ok. It would be nice if that were to come with it too (hence 4 stars)

Beautiful duvet cover set, just as striking on the bed as it is in the photo. We have a big high-lift fluffy duvet insert, and I actually think it looks better when its all fluffed up than just flat on the bed, so hooray! I have washed the linens twice now, in cold water, and the red color does not bleed into the ivory color. There is quite a bit of embroidery, but no threads coming loose even after washing. It is cotton, so a bit of ironing makes it look better. I iron the pillow shams completely, and just do touch-ups as needed on the big coverlet (hate ironing, but it's worth it). We purchased this for the holidays, but it looks so nice that we'll probably leave it on for a while longer because it looks so nice.

Material is very thin and the duvet must be attacked with little silk ribbons which come undone all the time unless you knot them. This defeats the purpose of being able to easily wash the cover if you must struggle to untie the little ribbons. Pretty but cheaply made with not much thought for convenience.

I took a chance and ordered this item and I am extremely happy that I did. Immediately upon opening the package I could tell that this was softer than anything else I've yet purchased from Amazon. I don't remember other sheets, even those in luxury bedding sets that I've acquired from expensive retailers being this soft out of the package. In my experience it usually takes one or two washings before most sheets reache their optimal softness. So I almost can't wait to see how these feel after they're washed, but I don't want to take them off yet; they feel so good. These duvet covers are a bit large, but this is not a complaint. The description does mention the dimensions 90x92", which are accurate. My advice to anyone considering this purchase is to pay attention to the information in the description, which is quite detailed, and to MEASURE YOUR DUVET. My only gripe is that the borders around the edges of the pillow shams are not equal on all four sides. The stitching on the top of the shams is 2" from the edges on three sides, and 1/8" narrower on the side opposite the opening for the pillow. It is noticeable but it doesn't really bother me all that much. I purchased this really only for the duvet cover - the shams are just a bonus- plus my primary concern was the feel of the fabric, which I can confidently and emphatically report is SUPERB. OTHER COMMENTS: Purchasing bed linen on amazon.com can be a daunting task fraught with confusion and frustration. There are so many sheet set offerings on Amazon from this as well as other sellers. Many have similar names and nearly identical descriptions but a different photo. Others use the exact same photo but have a different name and/or description. It feels almost like a craphoot. For what it's worth, this particular set came in a package labeled Royal Hotel. I'm elated with the quality so far and am looking for a matching sheet set. The various names and differing descriptions have so far made my search quite difficult. If there is anybody with information that can help, please post a comment to my review. Did I mention these were soft?

I purchased this duvet because I wanted something washable, as I have two shedding cats that find their way on to my bed no matter how hard I try to keep them out! It looks great with a hidden button closure, and the pillow shams are well made. The embroidery is beautiful. We love it. Washing it is not a problem. My husband and I love it!
