It's not working consistently. The heavy metal ball at the bottom of the drinker is supposed to work like a roll-on stick but just like those sticks, it frequently requires extra pressure to get it to move. It gets stuck and a cat's tongue doesn't exert enough pressure to loosen it.The size is suitable for a cat or small size dog, definitely not a hamster (as in the title!) or medium / large dog. But again, if the ball sticks and the pet's tongue flicks over it, nothing comes out.I also did not like the bottle. It's flimsy, thin plastic. You can easily squeeze it with your hand. It doesn't open at the top, so you have to take it off and open the bottom to refill it.Nice concept but poorly engineered. At $30 it is overpriced. Returning mine today.
