Washi Style Origami Paper, 120 sheets #N8383

This is some nice paper in the Washi Style of patterns. I really like the feel of this paper and the patterns. The paper is a bit thinner than normal printer paper which makes it really effective for crisp and complex folding. And it has a slight textured quality feel to it. The best thing about this paper is the beautiful patterns. See my photo in the description to get a look at some of the patterns. You get 30 different patterns each with four sheets. The patterns are on one side and the other side is white. Good choice for origami paper if you want to make some things with a nice Japanese feel and look to it. Good value with a decent number of sheets.

The patterns and colors are generally quite pretty, with a few duds (yellow with a blurry red and black "plaid"? Ugh). The paper itself is relatively thin for origami paper and has a very matte finish, which makes for clean folds but also some "weak" spots when there are multiple creases. The real problem, though, is that the paper has an overpowering chemical odor. It's strong enough that I've had to wash my hands after use.Edited to add a star. After using this paper for a day, I like it much better. The matte finish is actually very nice and comfortable to work with, though the odor persists.

After reading so many reviews about poor quality and unattractive origami papers, I wasn't sure what to order. I took a chance on these and I am so glad I did.There are so many designs with something to please everyone ... butterflies, flowers, abstracts, checkered prints, pastels, bolds, even one with what looks like little blue circus wagons ... Cute, sophisticated, imaginative or mathematical, it's all here. The paper is excellent quality, just the right size and folds well.I am very pleased!

This pack of single-sided, perfectly-square origami paper is thin but not the thinnest paper I've run into--think cheap printer paper. Thin, however, is especially good for the novice or pieces with many folds. "Washi style" they call it--a term that has absolutely no meaning. There's a nice variety of patterns but I find the florals lame. I'm chalking this up as one I won't buy again. It doesn't come with any instructions and the packaging can't be reused. It might be competitive as far as price.

Great origami paper which makes excellent origami creations!!! This "Washi Style Origami Paper" is thin and textured with 30 different beautiful patterns and has 120 sheets per pack. My husband and two adult children are super into making very difficult origami creations and all three gave this paper a big thumbs up! Yes this paper is much cheaper if you live in Japan, but I don't. Sincerely, Mary Beth K.

This paper is standard 15x15cm one-sided pattern, and cut true square. It is easy to work with, takes a good crease, and has about an average light feel to it. Four stars for the patterns, which may be traditional, but are a bit loud for me, especially the red and white checkerboard.The package insert shows suggested uses like gift box and pencil box exteriors, chopstick sleeves, and origami. Seems appropriate.This package has the pattern promised by the Aitoh Origami Paper - Washi Chiyogami Designs Assortment page (but that nobody seems to be getting when they order it).

I have brought back much origami paper from Japan that was not too expensive. This is no where near the quality of that. I was disappointed.

This paper is,too heavy to be Washi paper . Doesn't work when trying to cover eggs.
