It's mostly just for looks. staple remover works just fine, the stapler really only seems to work when it's sitting on a desk (I get loose staples when I try to hold it in my hand, unless I really clasp/press down hard with my other hand), and the tape dispenser is a little enraging simply because of a design flaw. There's no catch for the notches of the dispenser, so when you go to lift the piece of tape to pull it the dispenser's roller rises up and falls off...you need to use your other hand to press it down and make sure it doesn't fall off of the track. The clear plastic seems to be lasercut, which is why I say it's enraging--could have easily been fixed after a prototype was tested!

Stapler does not work at all. Looks great from afar but the material is plastic and coated gold. It's very cheap feeling for the price. I've tried many different staples and stapler only jams every time. Tape dispenser is too light to even allow you to tear the tape. Only thing that works is the staple remover. Looks pretty but now just wasting space on my desk...

Really cute BUT the a piece of the clear plastic detail on the staple remover fell off ans I had to superglue it back on. Still looks good, but you can tell I glued it on. Also, every time I go to remove a staple, the rose gold metal gets scratched. The stapler, on the other hand, looks great but it’s not the best when stapling a small amount of papers (like two or three) together because it doesn’t close the staples tightly enough, so it ends up looking a little flimsy. However, if this doesn’t bother you, it works perfectly fine.

Arrived June 18th, was beautiful, and worked. Today is July 23rd and its still beautiful but broke apart into many pieces. I love the way this stapler looks on my desk, and it works well. However, after dropping it once, little cracks appeared in the base. Although I suppose I should have been expecting that with acrylic. It is not noticeable and I do not really mind. Great price compared to the Kate Spade one

These are so beautiful and exactly as described online. They took a few weeks to get here, but it was TOTALLY worth the wait. I can't wait to put these on my desk at work.

The first stapler I received was beautiful but did not work. I contacted the seller and they did not hesitate to ship a new one right out to me. The new one works great and is a beautiful addition to my desk. Great product and great service!

I love the looks of this stapler but it will only handle a few sheets (10 or less) and frequently jams. I leave this on my desk for aesthetics and keep a Swingline that I've had for 20 years close by in a drawer for actual use.
