Honestly my favorite jar i’ve ever come across. Top quality glass. It feel heavy and sturdy. I got another one as soon as i got my first one. I already recommended it to all my friends. This product is amazing. I cant even belive that it was actually from a Instagram sponsored post. Lol will never complain about about does again.

I needed something to keep my stash fresh. I also needed to make sure that this product was working. Light bulb. Let’s test it out on Flaming Hot Cheetos. The problem with hot Cheetos is that after 2-3 days of opening the bag the chips go stale. So what I did was open a fresh bag of hot Cheetos, stashed some in the canlock container, then pumped away at the vacuum seal button. I put the canlock away for 2 weeks while I had my open bag of hot Cheetos that got stale within 2 days. Fast forward 2 weeks later, I opened up the canlock and the Cheetos were still fresh like it was out of a fresh bag. Throughout the whole time I had the Cheetos in the canlock, I didn’t need to reapply and push the vacuum seal button. That is a plus for me and with less hassle. So yes this product is working. I recommend it if you are trying to keep a product vacuum sealed and fresh inside the Canlock.

6/23/19 Update:Upgrading my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.The seller sent me a replacement unit under warranty (thanks) and this replacement unit works as advertised. It’s been over a week and the vacuum seal is still holding, unlike the first unit I received. I’m happy to say it’s working great! I plan to order more of these, now that I know it works.Btw, one thing I did notice with the replacement unit was that it was packaged much nicer than the original one I received. This made me realize the first unit I received might have been a prior customer return, because some of the inside packaging materials were missing in the original one I received compared to the replacement, plus the black vacuum cap on the original shipment was dirty compared to the replacement, which was perfectly pristine. (This might explain why the original one I received wasn’t working properly.)—————-——Original Review:I’ve used this vacuum jar for over a month now. No matter how careful I am to make sure the sealing gasket in the lid is clean and clear of any debris, my Canlock Jar only holds the vacuum for about a week at a time max.I keep having to pump up the jar each week. You can tell when the vacuum is gone by listening carefully for a “hiss” sound when you unseal the jar.The seller kindly reached out after I bought mine, so I asked them about this issue, and they sent me warranty info. But I saw I have to pay return postage to return the unit (even though I am a Prime member) which would probably cost half as much as the jar did. Coincidentally their return address is in the same zip code as my house so I asked if I could return it in person on my way home to save on return postage, but they said I could not.Not sure yet if I will pay the postage to return my unit, only to potentially receive another replacement unit that suffers from the same problem again, which means that I would have to pay return shipping a second time to return a defective replacement unit (this has actually happened to me before with something else I bought from a totally different unrelated seller online...frustrating.)In the end, I really wanted to love this very cool product - at first glance it’s sleek and nicely designed with a feeling of high quality, but if it can’t hold a vacuum for more than a week at a time, then it won’t work for me.I gave 2 stars instead of just one because the design is very nice and it was a good attempt to manufacture a very useful and unique device for customers. If the product improves and holds a vacuum for a decent amount of time, then I would wholeheartedly give 5 stars without hesitation!

For all thinking about it, just do it already. the jars are super thick the pump lids are just the bomb. I purchased 14 for my spices and all perform flawess, with the exception of one where i had to turn over the lid took a knife and popped flat black disc off and jiggeled the soft rubber insert snapped cap back on BOOOM flawless action good as new. I will say if you turn it upside down you will have to pump it just a lilbit for that little extra air. but anyways great product great results cant go wrong, so buy it pump your lil hearts out for airtight greatness. UPDATE 5 MONTHS AND COUNTING!!!!! still going strong haven't touched button still down, no worries, no mold nodddda. if used right the best around. ive think I still have bought most on here so I have nothing to gain, Make sure Lid is Tight, PUMP till Button stays at lowest point. Turn upside down then Back upright Pump few more times. VOILA BOOOM!

Just got this beautiful jar a few days ago. It's got a perfect air tight seal!As a test I I left the vacuum pump button pushed down overnight to see if it would pop back out by morning but it stayed down!! If there was an air leak of any kind this thing would definitely pop up. I'm happy to report there's no air escaping making it a perfect vacuum seal!This baby is perfect for keeping my herbs fresh and is great at sealing off air!

Perfect size to hold half an ounce of herbs. Keeps herbs as fresh as the first day. Lightweight. Easy to use.I also use two way humidity packs.UPDATE within a month the vacuum sealer stopped lasting. I closed lid, pumped it and within a few hours the seal is gone. Now making it less airtight than a regular jarSecond update: seller sent me another jar, let's see how this one works :)

When they work, they seem to work pretty well. They seem to have some quality control issues though. I purchased 3 on one order and two of them work fine but the third one lost the suction lock. I got a replacement from amazon and that one doesn't work properly either. I will be putting in for another replacement of that one so hopefully I get a good one. I have no doubt that company will replace these under warranty but it seems from the reviews and my own experience that they are relying on that rather than putting a little more effort into making a better product in the first place.Maybe that's the world we live in now though... is it better, to put out crap and stand behind an easy warranty than, to put out a good product that maybe costs a little more and not have to replace as many? Kinda seems like many manufacturers these days are just throwing things to the wall to see what sticks. Maybe it's cheaper than paying R&D costs when consumers do it for you.

So i recived my package really fast here in Germany. But the problem is that the seal is not working. After 5 minutes there is no more vacuum. So ist is pretty useless for me...
