Scene-A-Rama Desert Oasis Diorama Kit

I've been using this brand of diorama kit for my last four builds. This particular kit did not come with a base. I knew that when purchasing. The kits provide all that is needed to build a great looking diorama. It's important to read through the instructions prior to staring the build. This will ensure an easy build with great results. Over all I an very pleased with this product.

Bought this for my 8yr old son’s school project. While it was not easy for him to use independently, the product itself was easy to use, understand and his project came out very cute. We used a few different things to complete his project and only used some of the items in this package. The only thing I was confused about was if it came with the foundation, as mine did not have. Thankfully we did not need it.

Didn’t come with a box but we have plenty of craft items for the next project

We got this for my daughter's project for school - DO NOTE, there is no included base... but, this kit is easy to work with and the results look pretty great!

So my son had an option to do a model of a CA mission or other CA historical landmark for a 4th grade project. He chose the LA Brea Tar Pits. Try googling that for a project, I had no luck. Saw these kits at the craft store for like $10 more and decided to go for it. It was perfect! Only bummer was one of the palm trees top was broken, but we made do without it. I'm not deducting a star since I never brought it to the seller's attention. It came the day I ordered it (THANKS PRIME!!). There is not even a smidge of craftiness in my entire person, so this kit was ideal. We used everything it came with, we just added that green flower arranging foam for the little hills and used rubber cement over black paint for the tar. We also bought those little toobz animals for the little guys in the tar but we picked them up in the craft store since they were a little more $ here than there.

Got this set for my son for school project. Overall this is a great set with lots of options to build a diorama. Taking off one star because the picture on the box shows a nice base for the diorama, however when you receive the product you will see in the fine print on the box “base not included”. Looked at the description on Amazon again and it did not state this anywhere. Tried to order the base on Amazon and it would take 2 weeks to arrive and cost more than the kit - forget it! It worked out okay to just use a piece of heavy cardboard cut to fit the size of kit’s “desert sand”.

On the package in the small print it states "base not included". But all the images on the box shos a base as if this was a "all included kit". Buyer beware.

Looked really good for my daughter’s 4th grade diorama project! Definitely recommend!

Bought at a good price. This item fits the bill.
