Solid piece
A solid peice for the price. The Black and White series statues are numbered which is nice detail the sell doesn't mention.The boxes to not contain the number so there is no way of telling unless you remove it from the box. I recommend this because is it a great display piece especially if you have other BaW statues.Be aware that it is not a resin or plastic statue it's almost like a type of clay or ceramic. It's hard to tell and it is heavy. The figure is attached to the base, this is unlike most other collectibles where you have to attach them.The details are nice and painted like a 3D comic book. You can see the battle scars on the suit and cape. For the price it's great for a novice collector or a hard core collector. It's not a sought after peice but it a nice one.

A cool Batman design.

Lacked proper shipping material.
My husband loved the figure. However, it would have been nice if the seller had shipped it in a plain cardboard box on top of the manufacturers box. The box was damaged during shipping, and any collector knows you have to have a box in good shape. That was my only complaint. Fast shipping. No other issues.

The paint application is inconsistent and poorly applied. Quality control issues with this statue.
I received the first one and the nose was chipped off, so amazon sent a replacement and unfortunately this one is worse than the last. The first statue, the paint was great but this second one is really, really bad. The paint is what should make this figure stand out since it's supposed to bring out the thick lines from Joe Mad's art, but those are entirely missing on the 2nd statue's right leg. (Please see pictures).Amazon is processing a second replacement so hopefully that one will be good.
