I have to admit, I ordered on the good reviews and was a bit surprised when I saw the pliers are actually quite medium size. Like average medium size.But, oh boy, how I was wrong when it's about performance.The pliers bite!I removed screws, nails, bolts. And when I used them, I "knew" that I'll get that nasty bit out, the pliers felt so safe and sturdy in my hands. And I am so happy about the "medium average" size now, as they don't take much space in my toolkit.I'm thinking about getting a second one, just in case :)Folks, get one. You won't regret it.

Excellent pliers for removing that deformed nut or screw head. They have great gipping force to make that hard job easy. Excellent quality tool with allen head recess for getting that ultimate tightness on yor job.

I just got them do I only tried them on a few test applications but the grip on a screw seems great . They seem to work like all the best brands of auto release vise grips also . So I look forward to using them.

wish they would use the same steel as their other pliers , didn't try using them for screw removal but for just grabbing and holding things they have worked well

I am a pretty firm believer of name brand tools - however, these locking pliers are better than what I would call the name brand.I was in the middle of a move, very cold weather and our new home with a fenced yard was not sufficient to keep our two St. Bernard puppies from breaking out - both dogs are very big and heavy - all they did was nudge aside the chain-link fence at one corner and hey were freeWell, I grabbed these pliers along with some wire ties and went to the breakout area - I locked onto the bar of the fence and was able to draw it closer to the fence post. I was using my full strength and body to pull the fence as close as could.The pliers did not let go - As I struggled in this pull, my wife quickly locked the fence to the post with the metal wire ties I have.All was secured four ties later - at least for now :)

Every mechanical person needs this

I wasn't sure how this tool would do since it was a very large stripped screw that I needed to take out. I have trouble with my hands so the locking feature was a huge help. I definitely would not hesitate to recommend these pliers to anyone. Easy to use and they get the job done with minimal effort. Worth it.

I am amazed at how theses Locking Pliers can grip small objects. Comfortable handles easy release multi purpose locking pliers.
