Venom: War Of The Realms (Venom (2018-2021) Book 3)

Good story but repetitive internal feud with Brock
I like this story and adds new highlights of a great series. My only problem with this book is, I’m a little bored of the constant internal feud with Brock and the symboit. I mean they have been a team for years now and to me it seems that by now they should have a grasp on their feelings instead of this all the time battle. It’s repetitive and Unnecessary now. Let’s get past it and show some good team work beating up bad or good guys

Excellent
This was a great tie-in. Watching Eddie, who separated from his symbiote last time, use magic to become a new Venom and take on Asgardian foes was a fun read:}

Well worth the read
The whole storyline of War of the Realms is a fun read and good story line. Venom’s storyline is well delivered, great art, and stands well enough alone as its own feature.

Easily skippable
Up to this point, I have really been enjoying the Venom arcs. This run, though, seems like filler material. Three Venom issues that loosely tie into the War of the Realms, but not really. The one redeeming factor of this run is the awesome artwork. The Norse Venom look is really cool, but plot-wise, I expected more. As for Cult of Carnage, it seemed like filler material. The entire issue was mediocre, didn't advance the story much, and although I know it is a preview of Absolute Carnage, it is still just mediocre. I don't care about the characters (John Jameson and Misty Knight), the artwork isn't bad, but there is nothing that makes it out to be great, and the plot just fell flat. Meh. Easily skippable on all fronts!

Bunn Stays True to Cates' Vision
OVERALL RATING: 3.75 starsArt: 4 starsProse: 4 starsPlot: 3.5 starsPacing: 4 starsCharacter Development: 4 starsWorld Building: 3.75 starsShort run but it was entertaining enough. Nothing earth shattering but the bonus issue, written by Frank Tieri, is well worth a read as it links Carnage USA to the Donny Cates' Venom run masterfully which is then going to flow into Absolute Carnage event. Cates is really making Venom my fave Marvel character presently and Bunn stays true to this vision. Art was very good throughout the trade.
