Amplicomms TCL250 Radio Controlled Digital Travel Alarm Clock

When one tries to turn it off via snooze function, it can easily happen that the alarm is completely turned off as the snooze button is between other buttons which will turn it off completely. Imagine finding the right button when it is dark and just woken. One cannot just simply check what the alarm is set at(by pressing a particular button), actually one has to go through the whole time setting process just to check.The vibrating alarm vibrates continuously instead of an intermittent rhythm, this way the alarm is more likely to be unnoticed when asleep. It is a strong vibrator though as long as the batteries are ok. The earlier models/ versions were better, clearly better.

I purchased this clock for the vibrating alarm so as not to wake my Girlfriend when I get up at 5.10am for my 6am shifts as this is 3 hours before she starts work, the vibration was so powerful that I decided to set this alarm for 10 minutes later and use my mobile as my main alarm as less likely to wake her. This was working fine but for some reason for the last month I've been waking up at 4.10am and didn't know why, one day this clock went off for some reason and I noticed a low battery symbol , I changed the batteries and reset the clock but at 4.20 the next morning it woke us both up, big trouble!!! The clock had gained an hour overnight I reset to the correct time and the same thing happened the next night, even bigger trouble!!! She didn't believe i was the clock so after correcting the time I did not use the alarm..................it had gained an hour overnight, WTF!!!

I’m hard of hearing and needed an alarm that vibrated this alarm is difficult to set up and hard to change times and didn’t work when you wanted it to very disappointed would not buy again
