Mancini SIGNATURE Luxurious Italian Leather 17" Laptop Briefcase

I needed a sturdy top loading case to carry Bible, books, and files to meetings. Two previous lower cost bags were disappointing, so I returned them, but this case fits the bill very well. There is adequate room for everything I need to carry. The top opens wide and stays open by itself. The inside dimensions are 17" long x 6 1/2" wide when fully extended. There are three inside compartments: 2", 3", and 1 1/2" wide. The center 3" compartment has padding for a laptop, but the padding is very thin and non factor for those who don't carry a computer, also the center has a 3" wide rigid flap that folds down to make a box bottom. The narrow 1 1/2" side compartment has two phone size pockets, 3 pen loops, and business card slots, and still room for files or thin books. The construction seems robust. The black leather finish is nice. It has a great leather carrying strap. Although this case is advertised as genuine Italian leather (there's even a leather tag attached that says so), a tag inside says MADE IN CHINA. Regardless of that, all in all it's an excellent bookbag for my purposes, well designed and looks good too. I recommend it.

It’s a pretty nice bag and nice looking. It does scratch easily and the bag doesn’t stay open well at all, if that that’s important to you. The first one came with some imperfections but I returned it for a full refund and bought another one. It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s not bad either.

Nice looking bag, but CHEAP, THE STRAP THAT Fits INTO THE LOCK TO KEEP THE BAG TOGETHER POPPED OFF....NOW I AM LEFT WITH AN EXPENSIVE BAG I CAN NOT USE...

This bag looks just like the picture. The leather is pretty soft but not too soft where it loses shape. My husband stuffs it with books and papers and it still looks beautiful. There's an area for a laptop inside, a cell phone pocket, a pen holder, and other little pockets. Very happy with it.

This bag makes a statement, very stylish & professional looking. Recieved nothing but compliments since purchased. Very strong build quality. Would cater to the needs of anyone in the corporate arena. Bought the brown & will defineatly buy the black. Thumbs up.

I purchased this briefcase in April 2017. I traveled to Ghana on the 3rd day that I received it. On my second day in Ghana the lock (not the keys) on the briefcase broke. I could no longer lock it. I had to carry the briefcase under my arm to hold stuff in it. I stayed in Ghana for 4 weeks. I filed a damaged report the next morning when I returned to U.S.A. Amazon directed me to the supplier. Mancini Leather gave me an email address (customerservice@[email protected]) to take a picture and send to him. Only to find out later that the email address does not exist. Now Mancini customer service told me in a later contact that because I did not report the damage within 30 days there's nothing they do. I was in Ghana in a remote area with no access to broadband. How could I file a damage report without a computer? I am stock with $287.80 briefcase with a damaged lock. I used the briefcase for only 2 days. The lock on the briefcase is junk.I will not recommend anyone to buy this particular briefcase, or to anyone to deal with Mancini Leather who gave me a fake email address?

I was looking to dress up my look, moving from the standard black fabric laptop bag and moving into something more professional looking. This bag hit the mark, very stylish and plenty of room for my 15" Mac and all accessories.
