 Installed today, so this is a first impression review.Installation was simple. Ran power and ground wire directly to battery. I used my own wire since the kit did not come with much length. Ran wires under the truck and secured with zip ties. These lights were installed on the inside of a truck camper shell which is painted with exterior latex paint. The 3M tape sticks well, even considering high temperatures that day. Switch seems sturdy. Lights are bright. Lights seem high quality and beefier than your average strip light. I would recommend these for sure.

I constantly find myself needing light in the bed of my truck when loading or unloading at night, so I decided to give this kit a try. The price was right, and it looked simple enough to install.Up front you should know that you will need some extra wire and connectors and possibly a sleeve of you plan to run the wire underneath the vehicle. The leads from the control are fairly short.The light strips couldn't be any simpler to install. Just pull the tape and press then down. The 3M tape holds them solidly in place if you've properly cleaned the surface beforehand. I ran the leads straight to the battery, so they'll work whether the truck is running or not. The LEDs are super bright and just what I was looking for.My only complaint is that the wire to the control switch is fairly short, too. I'd like to be able to put the switch inside the cab, but that's not really possible without major modifications. I tucked mine down between the cab and bed, where it's more or less protected and not very noticeable.Ultimately, I'm pretty pleased with these. They gave me exactly what I was looking for with no modifications to the truck.

These are great lights for the bed! I'll let the pictures do the explaining..UPDATE:I DECIDED TO BUY THIS AS REVERSE LIGHTS FOR UNDER THE TAILGATE AND OMG THEY LOOK GREAT!!! I have them wired into my reverse light fuse.

Overall a really solid kit for 25 bucks. I used it for lighting in my truck toolbox, just one strip, and it's plenty bright enough for sure. The button it comes with isn't amazing but it works. The adhesive on the strips and button is holding up perfectly after a few days in the Texas heat. For the way I ended up using the kit, I had to cut up all the wiring and customize it, so my warranty is gone. But I am happy with the kit so far. Will update if anything goes wrong.

Lights up the bed GREAT! Was a little more work than I thought to get fully installed with the on-off switch within easy reach at the tailgate. I ran a wire directly from the battery to power it so that I would not have to turn on parking lights or anything else to power on the bed lights. They definitely light up the entire bed when dark (so I can get the fishing gear back in after a late evening on the lake).

Install went good, wires are plenty long to catch both sides, button is nice and works well. Would definitley recommend for the price. Awesome bang for buck ratio. Will see how the glue holds up, its 3M double sided tape, went on pretty well, given it being in the cold, but was in a heated shop during the install.

I just got these hooked up today so I can’t speak for longevity, but I had instant gratification when I turned these on. Plenty bright, my only complaint is the amount of wire they come with. I have a 2016 Silverado and GM puts a plug under the truck bed designed for their OEM bed light wiring harness. The OEM bed lights are junk, so I bought these lights and with some extra 18 awg wire, I tapped into this plug using a couple spade connectors and that was it. Now these lights work off the stock cargo lamp switch in the cab, very slick. It took me a bit to figure out this set up, so if anyone has questions on how to do it this way just let me know.

Wow! Amazing product quality and performance. These LEDs light the truck bed up like daytime. The quality 3M adhesive works perfect. It includes plenty of quality wiring and the switch works well.I couldn’t have asked for anything more in this purchase. I really am very impressed with the value of my purchase.
